Hi
I am a little bit confused about the timeline of the artifact campaigns.
My understanding was that Artifact Unbound was following from the Dawn series.
BUT (SPOILER ALERT - don't read if you will play these campaigns)
in the Dawn series, if the runners are successful, the artifacts end up with Ehran the Scribe. While in artifacts unbound, the players end up chasing the artifacts once more... I happy with the fact that once reunited, fate (or whatever it is) will work to separate the artifacts once more. Is there, anywhere, any explanation of the reasons behind Ehran losing the artifacts OR i have completely missing the plot here...
thanks

Raaaaah! While this is a precise answer :), it is deeply unsatisfying!

There were hints in some of Frosty's comments in that and other books when talking about the Artifacts, saying how it is very difficult for anyone to hold on to these things for long. You go through all this effort to get them (and seemingly catch some incredible breaks as you do) but they work to separate themselves when you try to put them together. There have been runs against the DIMR before, so there's no reason to believe there weren't more runs that caused Ehran to lose the artifacts after having some time to examine them.

Yes, this is my conclusion too. I would however have preferred a few more facts. I'll just have to be creative.
