Hey I noticed that skinlink was missing from sr5. I wanted to know if it will be put in a upcoming book

Most likely just one of the retcons.
It never existed in the new shadow run universe.

I think Bull said they were looking at reworking it and it might appear in one of the later books.
Also the skinlink technology actually exists and was patented in 2007.
So it has been around for sixty years.
