Post by: Cranstonvm on <10-28-13/1816:02>
Has there been a pulp RPG boom lately or am I just noticing the normal trend?

Adventure by White Wolf (almost a decade old now)
Daredevils... hmm... early 80s
Hollow Earth... 2006?  uses Kickstarter a lot to built their line of books
Justice Inc - hero games, been around for awhile.
Spirit of the Century... FATE, been around for half a decade at least
Deadlands Noir?  Pulpish I guess.
... others?

Anyway, not sure its a new craze per se.  Are there any other newish ones?

There's been an explosion of indy games in general which has resulted in more titles, and the resurrection of some titles that had vanished.

The only one my group has any experience with is Spirit of The Century, and we loved it. Probably the easiest game system ever we've ever played with. Hell, now that I'm thinking about it, I might have to break the book out and run a game sometime.

I noticed a couple  newer games: Rocket age, Cosmic patrol, and Leagues of adventure. Along with Space 1889 which I know has been out for a while. I am definitely going to see about those other games you mention.
