Hey folks,
I'm starting my first campaign, which will run within the next few weeks and last until late January. My thought for it is that my players could be traffickers/hitmen/whatever for the Aztlan cartels or paramilitary groups in conflict with Amazonia. Anybody have any suggested reading/ideas? I'm pretty dang new, considering I played a few times two years ago and haven't been on the forums since.
Thanks!

Stuff on Aztlan and Amazonia can be found in Ghost Cartels, War!, and the Sixth World Almanac. All are SR4 books, but all the fluff is still valid and you may still find these books on game store shelves (perhaps even on discount racks) or in PDF form on DriveThruRPG.
Not a lot has been published for SR5 yet, but there's some stuff on trafficking along with the border crossings in the Coyotes e-book, and there's some fluff on what it means to be a hitman in The Assassin's Primer.

Cool!
Thanks a lot! Do you know if there's any handy way to convert game statistics from SR4 into SR5?

You could try the Conversion Guide (http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/116922/Shadowrun-Fifth-Edition-Character-Conversion-Guide). It means converting each character individually, but that's about it.
