Title: [Resource] Countryside locations
Post by: Companero on <01-24-14/0734:41>
Hi :)

I've created a list of agricultural locations to help me make rural areas in my Shadowrun game more science fictional and weird - I hope they come in useful to you guys!

10 locations,

10 more locations

The ruralpunk tag also has two more posts about ideas for enemies and adventures. My campaign is heading for the Sioux Nation and i'm hoping to post some specific ideas and NPC lists for that in the coming week!

Thanks, Companero

Sweet concepts, and I love the rural bent.

Would maps be asking too much?

Thanks  :)

As for maps, I'm mostly terrible at making them, although I could try to make something - or cajole someone else into doing it for me. Was there a particular location you wanted?

I was thinking how well some of those locations dovetail into the map of South Florida I made.

The Ecogee area corresponds well to Relief Center #2.

The inundated town is much like Relief Center #3, though it also works for The Wastelands of Kendale lakes.

I was thinking of the American south when I wrote it, it somehow feels specifically Gibsonian (I guess because he was from there!).

Anyway - here's a random encounter table for checkpoints: http://vircadesproject.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Ruralpunk
