There are elections every two months in Seattle. Do we know what month elections are held? I'm going to assume November since that would carry over from United States custom to the UCAS. Seattle 2072 has a list of currently-elected officials on page 140. I assume that is prior to 2072 elections, and then of course prior to 2074 elections. I know that Brackhaven is re-elected in 2074. What about the mayors, senators, and representatives named on page 140? Is there an easy place to see election results for 2072 and 2074?
Also, the Cathode Glow (page 74 of Seattle 2072) is owned by someone named Casey Connors. Do any details about that person exist? Most obviously, Casey can be a male or female name, so gender? Also metatype? I don't mind making that stuff up, but I always like to know the lore when it's been established.
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you meant that elections are held every two years, not months. :P
Unfortunately, there are no published election results that I'm aware of. A few little things can be picked out from the fluff in Storm Front and some of the Missions, like Dana Oaks still being DA. Otherwise, there's not a lot. Sam with the Cathode Glow - there's no info that I can find beyond what you see in Seattle 2072.

I don't know, Speed Voting could be the wave of the future and if you don't get results NOW, you are out pretty fast. ;)

LOL, 2 years when everyone's in meat-time. 2 months for anyone living in hotsim VR or astral.
Thanks Namikaze. Unless anything else comes along, I'll feel free to make up my own mayor/senate/representative election results for 2072 and 2074, and my own details for Casey Connors (male human in my campaign, because the whole concept of the Cathode Glow is just too nerdy for me to think of Casey as being female!)

I pictured the Glow as being owned by a VERY butch lesbian dwarf. It was awesome, because the male hacker dwarf in my team tried to hit on her. :P

Heh, awesome. Love the element of individualism/creativity to fleshing out the details of the Sixth World!

That's the thing. There's a whole world, and only so much word space to update it.

I believe the results of the 2074 elections, or at least some of them, are discussed in Dirty Tricks, which has all sorts of tasty nuggets of fluff.

Thanks for the recommend Belker! I'll definitely pick up Dirty Tricks in my next Shadowrun shopping day!
