Hoi chumers. Sounding off here to find an online group to join. I am well versed in Shadowrun 3rd, 4th and 5th edition, but I would prefer 4th edition. I have looked across roll20.net and dumpshock, but this board looked to be more active. I am not really interested in a pbp at this time.

Anyone out there?

I am also open to suggestion as to where else to look.

Any ideas?

Typing in a really big font isn't going to help your case...

As far as finding an online game of SR, about the only thing that is going to help is patience. The number of people looking to play is far greater than those gming a game, so when they do open up, there generally isn't a lack of players.

keep this page open and f5 every half hour or so. I waited about three weeks before one opened up.
If i'd been quicker on the f5, it woulda been sooner.

Also, consider the phrasing, "...looking for a new fixer."
The way you wrote it sounds like you had a HORRIFIC accident.

generally around a game starts every week in these forums, just gotta check daily, also roll20 sometimes has games put together on their looking for groups page. Patience is a virtue, and generally lets the potential GM know you are serious and not just flavor of the month :P

Distracting yourself by making several characters and writing a bit helps pass the time.

Just don't do what I decided to do and start an epic novel that you end up writing two-three pages at a time. Well, unless you want to.
