Well just did my first 2 runs with new Group First time playing SR5. I made up a whole bunch of scenarios for them to get into some combat, but they managed to avoid all but one very short bar fight for the First run.
They were sent to intimidate 6 targets. 4 of the targets had kids, so the Technomancer put together, the best way I can describe it, a Murder Point presentation, getting information on their kids and sending them messages to their commlinks encouraging their Yes vote.
So my next run I want to Guarantee some combat so I'm sending them to get some data that is stuck in some guys head. First part they are going to find out where the guy is holed up, he's already dead and another team is after the same thing. The other team arrives right before the runners do. Knight Errant shows up shortly after that, and I'm assuming the runners are going to do the smart thing and wait to get the corpse later. Trying to get the corpse later at a morgue, they encounter another team of runners after the body.
So I'm hoping someone has a few good Runners for me to use.
The players are playing...
Ex-Lonestar Detective (Good with guns and Unarmed)
Technomancer/Rigger (Submersion Level 1)
Mystic Adept Troll (Unarmed Combat Monster, and Throwing.-he has Combat Sense 4, Killing Hands, and Increased Reflexes 3)
Elf Sorcerer/Face (Very Good with Illusions, and Con)
I'm thinking a Sniper for first encounter would be fun (especially since one of the players has used them against our team when he GMed.)
-
give the sniper a remote control firing platform with a weaker, but louder gun.

That is evil... I like it.

Yeah they got information and pictures off all the kids and made a slideshow with a little editing from the Technomancer made a gruesome presentation. At the end it said vote Yes.
I did not see that one coming when I wrote up the run. I mean I figured they might mention the kids to the targets they were intimidating, but I didn't think they would be so evil. I coined the term Murderpoint when they were discussing their plan.
