I've been feeling the need to do some GMing, but don't want to run a full campaign.
Seems like a good compromise is to run a one-shot for players new to fifth edition.
The Quick-Start Rules:

The game will take place sometime in late May, at the convenience of the players. I'm thinking 2 players minimum, 4 maximum. 3-5 hours playtime.
Game is set in Seattle, 2075. Character creation is standard level.
If you've got any questions, feel free to ask here or shoot me a message on Skype (seekingnothing)

I'd love to play in your game.
What sort of "feel" are you going for?
should i start whipping up a character, or should we bang out concepts first?

Well, I was going over my planned run, which I've been using since SR3, and I realized the damn thing is moot/silly post wireless matrix (It involved disabling a jackpoint).
So, I can tailor it to expectations.
My usual playstyle as a player might be described as Pink Mohawk wearing sunglasses. I like a little professionalism and the like while embracing the wonky ridiculousness Shadowrun can foster.
Way I see it, I'm doing this for the players so I might as well build it around their expectations.

I dig really tragic stories, hong kong action kinda, "almost had a happy ending, but nope" type of shit.
I can make whatever character you the group needs, although i've never made a "fighter" type before, and i'd kinda like to.

If you just felt a shudder, I was laughing rather maniacally.
My own preference along the same lines. Pyrrhic victories are a favorite of mine.

I'm gonna go ahead and make a swordsman if that's all good with you.

Update: I'll be running this out of roll20.
It looks like we'll be playing on the 28th at 4pm EST.
Still have a few slots if anyone is interested.
