Title: Herolab: karma to increase skills to high?

I am in the advancement stage. When I go to increase an active skill (cybercombat is what I tested it on) from 6 to 7, it tells me that this takes 28 karma.

Shouldn't this take 14 karma?  Has this been changed in the rules somewhere?

I've noticed a few things that don't seen to add up. In regards to your example two things need to be eliminated first.

1) Are you sure you increased from 6-7 since it works on a click to add rather than raising a raying you may have accidently gone to 8.

2) Make sure their adaptive program hasn't decided something different is a better alocation so you pay more but get more.

It would cost double to raise in SR4 (in conjunction with the Aptitude quality), which is probably where the error comes from.

Bug seems to still be in play. Updated most recent patch for SR5 on Herolab. Open the character profile, go into advancement mode, it still shows going from skill 6 to 7 as requiring 28 Karma.

Does that mean this change isn't retroactive? IF you created a char before patch, char will still show incorrect advancement values?

Made new char as soon as SR5 HeroLab came out. Had it still locked in char create mode, saved it. When patch came out, opened file back up, went to advancement, and that is when I saw the summoning 6 to 7 needing 28 karma.

I thought I had that fixed.  Sorry about that, I just tested and it's not working correctly.
