This application is java not javascript.
So you need a java jre.

Thanks for the update urs. Is is possible to run this as a portable installation from a USB drive?

It perfectly is, simply extract the zip on the usb stick and run the program, it still depends on an installed java.
To get rid of this dependency you could also add a java jre to the program directory with the name jre, a detailed instruction can be found here: http://wiki.eclipse.org/FAQ_How_do_I_run_Eclipse.
With the workspace selector you can choose the workspace. So you could have several platform installations on the usb stick (like mac and windows) and use one workspace.

Anything else going one with this, it looks like the Shr5rcp is dead in the water.  My version I downloaded is missing A LOT of the life modules.  Anyone know anything better?

I don't know much about programming, but the ability to make this portable and embed the runtime environmnet on the usb stick looks interesting (did I call that the right thing?)

I use Chummer.  Is there a way to do this to chummer, and run chummer on a wifi USB drive, to access from an ipad?

Sad but true.
To be honest, as my group moved back to v3.01, there is not enough reason for my self to continue the project, and as I was not able to get other people in the boat it all stopped with me.
