Title: Commanding Voice (latest version)

Hey'up ya'll interested in your dissection of Commanding Voice.
See below for description.

Questions that arise:

1). If you have a Voice Modulator implanted can you take advantage of it's ability to speak at 100 decibels to project your Commanding Voice? The description below says no, and I am inclined to go with that but considering you paid Essence for your Voice Modulator perhaps not?

2). Will Tailored Pheromones stack with Commanding Voice? I would say yes as it's just another way the listener is being subtly influenced to agree with Commanding Voice user but the description for Tailored Pheromones specifically say no as "Tailored pheromones have no effect on magical abilities and tests" is in the bioware description.

3). What about other bonuses to Leadership like Speaker's Way Presence Metamagic and/ or Speaker's Way bonus to one social skill of your choice.
For example a level 2 Initiate of Speakers Way with Presence Metamagic can achieve +2 to Leadership from the Metamagic and +2 die to leadership from Speaker's Way for +4 die total. I would say yes.

Cost: 1 power point
This power channels the adept’s magic into his voice
to enhance the modulation and pitch, subliminally in- fluencing the actions of any listeners. The adept takes a Complex Action to give a simple but forceful command (five words or less) to the target, making an Opposed Test with Leadership + Charisma against the target(s) Willpower + Intuition. If the adept succeeds in the test, the target uses his next action to either carry out the command or stands confused (gamemaster’s choice, but the more net hits achieved the more likely it is for the target to obey the adept’s command). Such commands carry no weight beyond the immediate impetus, and the affected characters will quickly reassert their wits, returning to their original course of action. If multiple in- dividuals are targeted, use the largest dice pool among the defenders and add 1 die per additional target (to a maximum of six individuals). Commanding Voice may only be used on metahumans who can directly hear and understand the adept’s words. It has no effect when the voice is amplified or broadcast via technological means (e.g., wireless transmission or loudspeaker). It is also less effective on subsequent uses against the same target. Apply a cumulative –2 dice pool penalty for each use within the preceding 24 hours.

1) I would say no, as it's artificially modulating your voice, not naturally.
2) No, as Tailored Pheromones do not affect magical abilities. You can convince them with straight up Leadership, but using Commanding Voice mystically targets them to force them to do something.
3) I would say yes. Nothing preventing it, in my opinion.
