Title: Have you received your physical copy of Run Faster ?
Post by: pariah3j on <03-03-15/0949:42>: I pre-ordered Run Faster around December, and then proceeded to put it out of my mind because the anticipation of having my book was likely to drive me insane. And then I did actually forget about ordering it between life, work, etc. This realization hit me last night, it had been 3 months and that the release date had to be getting close, so I started searching around online. I came across this page http://www.shadowruntabletop.com/2015/02/catalyst-february-shadowrun-street-dates/ (http://www.shadowruntabletop.com/2015/02/catalyst-february-shadowrun-street-dates/) and a little panic began to set in, its been 2 weeks since the street date, and I assume it should ship before the street date. I haven't received an update from battlecorps but at the same time, I don't think I ever have... I checked and my original 5th LE package I bought still says its processing. So I was curious if anyone else has received their LE/Physical Copies of Run Faster yet ?

Last time I pre-ordered and Ltd Ed version from them, it didn't arrive until the better part of a month after the book had been available in stores. I've also had fulfillment bang on time...one never really knows. I've pretty much decided that I won't order physical products direct anymore (unless exclusive).

I got my last one from an online shop here in the US and have seen them in an FLGS up in Canada. Can't say that this will always be the case, but in general, I get my PDFs from Battleshop, ltd editions from an online FLGS and regular hard copy from Amazon or local FLGS. Generally cheaper and avoids the customer service challenges that can pop up.

What voodoo magic did you perform to get them to answer your email? I've sent 2 or 3 emails and have gotten no response.

And they never reply to email replies so I just sent different email subjects with the number, so: "Concerning order #123456" then "Order #123456" then "Order #123456 Still waiting"

How long ago did you email them ? I have emailed them several times this week with no responses yet.

The last email I stated I was going to dispute the charge because I had not received my package. That was about a week and a half ago, and due to work I have been really busy so I had not called my bank yet to dispute the charge. I received my order yesterday. Just under two months after ordering and constantly asking for updates. Good luck. I will not be ordering from Battleshop.net any more, and if this poor service continues I don't care how great of a game you have Catalyst will start to loose business.

I completely agree, I love shadowrun but this is leaving a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. Why does Catalyst continue to allow this company to do their pre orders with the poor customer service they have ?

It took several emails and almost 2 weeks to get a response. Now they did send me my missing copy of Vice but that was still they last time I ordered a physical book from them.

I know I've seen some different people having trouble with orders on the forums in the past getting some help getting in contact with the Catalyst team in situations like this. Is anyone still around that might have a way to contact someone dealing with the pre-ordered stuff from battleshop ? I would really appreciate it.
