From the Tumblr (http://catalystgamelabs.tumblr.com/post/112612108546/shadowrun-novella-doc-wagon-19) earlier this week, Doc Wagon 19, an epub novella, is heading our way soon.

nice cover :)

Is that a genuine pink Mohawk in the background?
-
Looks like a cool concept. Looks like a story (hopefully a serial) about aDocWagon HTR team.
-
Professional mercenaries need to scream less.
Just sayin'. :p
-
given the recording icon in the upper corner, they might be on camera for some new show like 'DocWagon Live' and hamming it up a bit.....

Could be a Centering technique though.

Could be. The orc in the background could be an adept and they just happened to choose the same technique. As like a dozen or so other people portrayed in SR art in 5e.
It's a popular technique in the 2070s is all I'm saying. :D

Got to be a drone "recording"...otherwise cameraman is in direct line of fire... :o
-
Whoever (or whatever) is doing the recording is 200 meters away, judging by the zoom. But you know what I really get out of this? It's great to be a platinum client.

Indeed it is ;D

The Life of a Lifesaver
DocWagon—saviors of the needy, rescuers of the desperate. Willing to go anywhere, rescue anyone, as long as that “anyone” has forked out enough advance cash to justify the effort.
Reporter Amelia Hart has embedded herself with a DocWagon team to see what their life is really like, and she’s in for a wild ride. From an OD’ing celebrity to an aggressive team of hackers, from pesky gangs to an extremely rich and powerful client teetering at death’s door, this night will give the team all they can handle. But will they survive long enough to remember that in the Sixth World, nothing is truly random?
Full of memorable characters and rich Sixth World flavor, DocWagon 19 is a thrilling ride with the people struggling to save lives in a sprawl with a million ways to make people dead. Strap in, hold on, crank up the siren, and get ready for a crazy ride-along through the full chaos of the Shadowrun setting.
Note: This download includes an epub and a mobi version.

Read it this morning.
An interesting story and a great view about the inner workings of DocWagon. The book helped me with some of the problems I had with DW
-
I was able to read this on the airplane last night...really enjoyed it. I thought that the premise (narrating a TV investigative program) was an excellent way to dive into lots of neat details about DW; loved the "commercials" ;). My one caveat...found the "twist" at the end a little...meh...won't go into details so as not to spoil for those who haven't read it yet.
Hopefully this is but the first of Jennifer's work for SR and look forward to seeing more of Ms. Harts reports in the future. ;D
-
Jennifer has worked on Shadowrun before a couple times before. She wrote for the SR Returns anthology, and did some of the chapter intro fiction on SR5, SR4A, and Seattle 2072. :)

Sorry about...thanks for the correction Bull.

Bought this Sunday, but got round to reading it last night.
Wow! Just ... wow!
The characterization was fantastic, the action cinematic and well-described, and the whole flowed brilliantly. I really enjoyed it and hope the author writes more, hopefully a full-length novel as my only gripe was finishing the story so quickly.
