Title: Book Club?
Post by: biotech66 on <06-08-15/0958:52>
Not sure if this is the right forum, but here we go.  I'm way behind in the novels.  Anyone else there too?  I'd like to start a book club to read them, post thoughts, and get caught up.  Who else is up for Fire and Frost?

I'd be interested depending on the time frame involved.  Where I'm a fast reader...I'm also a busy guy.

I figure we divide the book up in to a few sections (5?) by chapters,  read a section, and post after a week on those sections.  Sound good?

Alright, Monday July 6th, let's have the first 1/5th of Fire and Frost read.  It's two weeks for the first section, then we can do 1 week after there for each fifth.  Sound good?

Alright chummers, we're 1/5 of the way in and we're running around in Chicago.  What's everybody's impression so far?

I'm liking what I'm seeing.  However, I think some of the social introductions are a bit simple.  It's a great book, but a few of the scenes where people meet one another tend to be a bit "You seem trustworthy!" like.

What do people think of the first meeting in Chicago?
