Not sure if this is the right forum, but here we go. I'm way behind in the novels. Anyone else there too? I'd like to start a book club to read them, post thoughts, and get caught up. Who else is up for Fire and Frost?
-
Maybe. Is that one available on kindle?
-
Looks like they're all on pdf through Drive Thru. It's cheep and you can upload to your kindle via the PDF function.
-
Anybody interested?
-
I'd be interested depending on the time frame involved. Where I'm a fast reader...I'm also a busy guy.
-
I figure we divide the book up in to a few sections (5?) by chapters, read a section, and post after a week on those sections. Sound good?
-
It IS available on kindle. I'm in.
-
Alright, Monday July 6th, let's have the first 1/5th of Fire and Frost read. It's two weeks for the first section, then we can do 1 week after there for each fifth. Sound good?
-
Sure.
-
Just finished Fire and Frost, but I'd like to hop in on this. Aces?

Alright chummers, we're 1/5 of the way in and we're running around in Chicago. What's everybody's impression so far?
I'm liking what I'm seeing. However, I think some of the social introductions are a bit simple. It's a great book, but a few of the scenes where people meet one another tend to be a bit "You seem trustworthy!" like.

What do people think of the first meeting in Chicago?

So this group is also on the www.shadowrun.com site. They are a little slower, so we doing the next 1/6 next week Monday.
Anybody keeping pace with this group?
