Don't use Bear would be the first thing. Soak is the cheapest resource in the game; devoting your single Mentor Spirit to more soak is wasteful.

That said, your other best option is not to use standard priority, and recognize you're gonna take hella Drain since Trolls have super low CHA caps.

I'd say pick the INT tradition from Street Grimoire that has the spirits and fluff you like best.

Healing isn't a thing you spend most of your time doing (unlike healer classes in MMOs). Heading is something that hopefully comes up as minimally as possible! Being good at casting Heal (the spell) is actually super easy. You should figure out what you want to do with the rest of the time you spend playing the game, both in and out of combat.

Things high INT people are good at: Perception, Assensing, Street Knowledges, Small Group Tactics
Things mages are good at: debuffing, elemental AOEs, easy stun spell takedowns, utility effects
Things everyone should be ok at: shooting, a bit of sneaking
Things trolls are good at: taking a couple hits, melee combat

Good advice to build by; think of your character as an essential part of a team, rather than a single activity. (or even multiple activities)

Generally you'll aim for mechanical synergy, so the Int tradition mage can also be the guy that does the scouting (Perception), works on making the team unrecognisable (Disguises), knows the different neighbourhoods (Street knowledge), and is the one the face has talking in their ear when they need to seem relatable to anyone with a hobby (Interests) - just as examples.
