Title: Spell range modifiers?
Post by: PauloAM on <06-27-15/0753:10>
 :)   greetings everyone,

It says in the book that Line of Sight spells only need you to naturally see the target. I get that vision magnification is worthless. But, are there dice pool penalties for trying to cast a spell far away? Is there short, medium and long range for spells?

Thanks!

No modifiers for range, no.

All cyberware count as natural though so there are ways of migrating vision modifiers

Environmental modifiers should, in my opinion, apply, but since there are no range modifiers for spells you'd be looking at visibility, light/glare, and possibly wind for indirect combat spells. That's just my interpretation of the rules, though.

They do. But not for range.
