Title: Is Clock Work a head case ?
Post by: jack0byte on <06-30-15/1843:12>
so I've been reding the new  augmentation book Chrome and in it clock work makes some out of charter comment one about providing cheep care to the poor suffering with mental problems and another about his love for kittens
my theories are
1 he's a head case but with a much nicer personality
2 the writer wants us to remember no one is completely evil and while clock work may want tecnomancer ( even children) experimented on he is still human
3 every one likes kittens

Note the plural on kittens....

He eats them like popcorn. :P

Okay, maybe not. ::)

Plus it is hard to judge by Jackpoint banter alone.
Remember Slamm-O! /Netcat still talk/respond to CW despites threats made by him in the past (specifically aimed toward their child) and actions (remember when he sold out Netcat to a corp? yeah good times or killed Netcat's pal) but its all good because its on the JP.

Let's be honest: a complete personality rewrite of Clockwork could actually be an improvement, in his case :)

Which makes me think: in Dragonfall, there's also a decker called Clockwork who is seemingly taken over by an AI by the end of the game.

I believe it's been definitively stated that the JackPoint Clockwork and the Dragonfall Clockwork are not related.

I know, I just found the coincidence funny, that's all :)
