Title: Are the new lifestyle costs in chrome flesh standard?

I just got the book and started looking over it and something that stands out is the massive lifestyle increases from the CFD virus. Even living on the streets costs an extra thousand a month and a middle lifestyle now costs 7,500. Now in run faster a 40 hour a week job only pays 5,000 (the old cost of a middle lifestyle) so it's got me wondering are these increases standard I.E. What everyone pays or just the black/Gray market illegal runner costs. If they are standard then it'a going to have a huge knock on effect because all but the very rich are going to be taking a step down in their lifestyle. I can see entire "middle class" neighbourhoods being abandoned or getting run down as the people living there are no longer able to afford that lifestyle as their costs increase by 50%

Those costs of living only reflect the panic stricken areas, not the entire globe.

Ah got the impression the panic was global, so just the heavily affected areas thanks.
