I wanted to use bootstrap to invite marks to me the next time this device was rebooted. I wanted to know can it do that ?
Also is there a way to brick a device by Sleazeing it ?

Spoof: Format Device is the closest thing I can think of.

personally i don't think a device can invite you to take a mark on it (not even if you use puppeteer on it), that only the owner can invite you to take a mark on one of his devices. but this kinda depend on your reading i guess......
you need to cause matrix damage if you want to brick a device and you need to use attack actions if you want to cause matrix damage (and successful attacks will notify the owner).
unless you are a technomancer of course. they can cause matrix damage using resonance actions (which will not notify the owner when they successfully cause matrix damage - they do also not cause overwatch btw).
......but if you have enough time to set up you could have 3 marks, the correct cyberprograms loaded and your attack rating configured high enough to brick a device with one single spike....

Well, you could lay a data bomb and instruct the device to access the file. That would cause matrix damage
But marks you have to sleaze or brute force since you can't hack the owner, only his devices.
