I can't believe I've missed this but early access for the Master of Orion reboot goes live today on Steam and at GoG.com.  Woot!

Such an incredible game. I played the original and still play the iPad app. I host started the Steam download.

Saw a preview on YouTube last night...looks pretty amazing. Will likely wait until it gets formally released, but who knows... ;)

I saw on their Facebook page they are looking at about three months to complete development depending on what kind of feedback they get from early access.

MOO 1 and 2 were great! MOO3 was crap :(

Really interested to see what Wargamming does with this property.

I picked up MOO1-2 a couple years ago off of GoG and I still play them every now and then.

MOO 3 had a lot of great ideas that were poorly executed.
