Title: I feel a bit like a Shadowrunner.
Post by: Senko on <02-29-16/0005:08>
Had to take a blood test, skin biopsy and eye test as a potential control in a university research project today so right now there's a sample of my body out there heading off for testing to determine if it has certain genetic markers.

I have hopes of the ritual they'll be performing with it.

Nah, that's just what the corp drones go through.

Your runner experience starts when it crops up that you have DNA matching exactly with those on file of a certain escaped international criminal mastermind/political agitator  who is being desperately sought by the authorities while the press is having a field day at his brazen escape.
Now obviously they don't believe you are actually that fellow never-do-well, though there are rumours he has been spotted in this very state, possibly seeking plastic surgery to change his appearance.
So just to be on the safe side they have contacted the Feds, who are on their way right now along with some gentlemen from some other agencies, can't remember all the letters, but I am sure they will get it all sorted out just fine.

I mean, it's the government, they wouldn't screw up something simple like this or just use you as scapegoat to pacify the public/press now would they? ;)

They can't last time police tried to get me on something it didn't even make it to court before being thrown out. ;D

Weirdly though the sample they took of my dad previously did have some rare fault that made it unreadable.
