With Market Panic St. Louis becomes very interesting. Is there a good write up somewhere or only bits and pieces here and there?

There's some current info in SR5 Bloody Business (pp.24-25). It also gets a paragraph in SR4 Sixth World Almanac (p.195), a short treatment in SR4 Dirty Tricks (pp.79-80), and a column in SR3 Shadows of North America (p.177).

Dirty Tricks gives you the best info on it and what is currently going down with the political idea of becoming a "free city".
