Just as the title says. There's nothing in the rules that covers whether cybersuites come only in 'standard' rating, or if you can improve them with alpha/beta/delta, etc. Obviously it would have to be done all at once at the same time, so *incredibly* expensive and painful, but it would be good to know if it's an option or not.

What You see is what You get.
Cybersuites is Cyberware. Cyberware comes in categories.
As long as there is no explicit disallowance you can get cybersuites (too) in Categories

The bundle receives a 0.9 multiplier for essence without increased cost.
That puts them at alpha grade already.
I would allow buying superior grades.
If you're talking about 5th edition, I say put the cost 1 level lower, due to all the parts come from the same megacorp.

The poster was asking about cybersuites and not augmentation bundles- they are not the same and have different rules.
RAW, cybersuites being cyberware and bioware would have the ability to be bought in grades.
Is this the RAI- beats me- I didn't write the chapter.

I woke up a short time before posting and my mind lumped the 2 together in terms of general rules.

I believe they're suppose to be the same concept except the writers of Lockdown went one way and the writers of Chrome Flesh went another. The cybersuites for the most part aren't good enough or are too expensive and the always wireless on plus the advertisement make the augmentation bundles unplayable.

I'd still argue that Cybersuits are a good option for characters that just want a bit of cyberware.
Unfortunately with them being a side product we're almost 100% guaranteed never to see any more of them with more interesting options from Chrome Flesh... seriously the EVO Freak and Inhuman packs are just crying out for Cyber Tails and Digitigrade Legs from Chrome Flesh. They have some potentual for use, they just need more options and variety that they're never going to get.

Cybersuites dont have to be wireless on, thats Cyberbundles but I mean theres no one stopping you from making cybersuites also a cyberbundle I suppose, I dont think the makers of Cybersuites quite understood the rules since you have reaction enhancers 3 coupled with synaptic boosters so how does that work? also you couldnt make a cybersuite that had less than reaction enhancers 3? seriously? what making an affordable cybersuite at char gen that would give characters what they need from a start too overpowered?

No one said cybersuites have to be wireless on.
The one suit that has synaptic booster and reaction enhancers presents three options.
1)Neither works since they are both incompatible with each other.
2)Like the guns with both silencers and gas vents, some people would say, they both work. Because, Magic.
3)Use the reaction enhancers for everything that needs reaction such as piloting and defense rolls but when rolling initiative use the synaptic booster.
Option 1 makes them unplayable so I wouldn't rule it that way.
Option 2 may be a bit overpowered but different people have different ideas as to what is overpowered.
Option 3 is the mst likely way I play it.

It's bad grammar.

Did I forget to use an Oxford comma- my bad.
Dis you miss the and in between the two clauses?

Take it easy, wasn't trying to be snarky just clearing up the confusion. Just the way it was written if a word got missed it could become a bit confusing.
