Title: Is there something like a Monster Manual?
Post by: fetito666 on <03-28-16/2346:05>
One quick question: Is there something like a Monster Manual?

Thank you!

They have some critters and NPCs in SR5 (and a few others in some other books).  They are also coming out with Howling Shadows (http://forums.shadowruntabletop.com/index.php?topic=23735.0)

I'm not on Howling Shadows, but I know who is.

You'll be in good hands. :)

Also, more emerged critters, please!

Actually, I'd need some reliable stats for normal animals. The shapechange spell is otherwise one of those really nifty things you can't properly use.

Need str include lesser Horrors.

Wait, they don't exist any more.

Wait, can we get them back. Harlequin wants to fight them again.

I wish for toxic blood mage dragons infected with HMHVV!

But I'll settle for Verjigorm.

I second Mirikon's wish.

What I'll be interested in seeing are some kind of pet rules, especially for anything that could potentially even be taken on runs. It's something that would suddenly make Animal Handling a very useful skill.

This very muchly!

Jet the Hellhound is getting fat and lazy staying in the office instead of joining my character picking up bounties.

Jet the Hellhound needs better Unarmed Skill,  seriously, who made them less effective than Herbivores?

I think Pet Rules & Drake Rules both sound good.

Some more basic animal stats is cool for sure.

Biodrones scurs me.  No, really,  After the Bear & 2 Bobcats I had to face down, I never want to see one of them again.  Like...EVER

I think whatever that thing in the picture is shouldn't exist.  Like EVER.  Seriously, what IS that supposed to be based on?

One quick question: Is there something like a Monster Manual?
If you don't mind older editions there are a couple of them at least.
ParaAnimals of N.America & ParaAnimals of Europe were for 2nd? Edition IIRC.
Stats would be old but the fluff & pics are good for ideas.

Can your herbivores breathe fire?

Those have to be Ares-made, Mirikon.  They need lasers mounted on their heads, because even fish deserve a hot meal.

Who cares.
Its a big dog, it should bite like a Wolf, not like a Cow.
