I'm brand new and have just finished up my first character... wanting to be operating in london but will tweak my contacts and such if needs be. i have preliminary knowledge of the lore and certain knowledge of companies and things but really i just want to play so i can have some fun with the world that interests me ;D

Dunno if CSJarret plays live, but he's in your neck of the world. Another option would be to find a PbP game here on the forums to get your toes wet if no one responds to a physical game here.
Keep your eyes open on the PbP forum for open spots.
