Yes, another adept, I'm trying at least not to make them boring ::)
This one is on the path to burnout (almost before starting as an adept)...there didn't seem to be any point in paying 15 karma for the Burnout Way at character gen as he qualifies for it for 'free' now right?!?
Comments welcomed!!!

horrible attributes hamper this guy.
Agility should be maxed for this type of build.
hardwires are almost aways a terrible investment when you consider you have to buy the activesoft on top of the wires, and you can't get a rating 6 activesoft at chargen without restricted gear quality.
you're far better off maxing agility and taking skill at level 4 on a rating 4 skillwire system, + more flexibility.
-
I figured the arm would deal with pistols and lock picking...(and can you use hardware for lock picking these days, seems like a grey area?!?)...Stealth was a lesser part of the build as I was trying for something a little different... Sadly it seems once again that agility needs to be maxed :o
I missed the part about needing the active soft for the wires too, that does put a krimp in the concept ::) ...just looked, unless it has been errata'd somewhere, activsofts have a fixed availability of 8 no matter the rating so no need for restricted gear quality?!?
Glad I asked before adding him to my archive, some re-working required!

It's not explicitly stated in the RAW and I swear previous editions the software came free with the hardware. The writer for that section has posted his intent was software needed to be purchased, I don't know if there is official Errata on that or not. Given that 5th edition moved a majority of the Skillwire cost from the Hardware to the Software, having a limited version of very slightly cheaper hardware is Niche at best.

There is very little point attempting hacking with a dice pool of 7.

Sure, but is was more about 'understanding the principles' than doing it...at least enough to instruct an agent down the line at some point...

Niche certainly, and an expensive way to get a skill of 6, but it fits the concept of someone needing an edge in a skill they wouldn't have time to learn from scratch... This guy is 50! Wouldn't have learnt how to shoot a gun ordinarily, but the shadows have been thrust on him rather than him going there by choice! I'm not so worried about making the optimal infiltrator, I just don't want him to be complete crap and a burden on a team!?!
