Title: One handed is wiz!
Post by: psycho835 on <05-06-16/1747:02>
Quick question - are there rules for firing a two-handed weapon with one hand? I went trhough the index and scanned the section on ranged combat in the core book and "Killshots and More" from Run & Gun but I can't seem to find it.
And yes, I am aware that two-handed firearms are not meant to be fired with one hand and there are probably some hideous penalties for doing so.

Not in SR5, not yet anyway.

SR4's Arsenal has rules for this that can easily be converted.

I initially read the thread title as "One Handed Wiz" and was worried you were going to be seriously over-sharing some rather intimate details with us. :)

Could have sworn there was a -2 modifier for that in SR5, but apparently it's only in 4E-Arsenal.
and only -1 for trolls.

Not to bad really, unless you use it in your off-hand.

*groan*  ;)

Back on the subject.
-2 in 4th and no rules in 5th, huh? Well, in that case, I'll put the penalty at -3 with all uncompensated recoil doubled. Thanks chummers.
