I'm GMing with new group. There is a New Player wants to play Shadowrun and wanted some help making his first character. He gave me some ideas about what kind of character concept he was interested in. This is a rough draft of a Technomancer who heavily relies on Sprites. Character is made using Karmagen. Campaign is going to be more Street Level, so character doesn't need to be Min/Maxed. I tried to help him come up with something that is fun to play.
Any thoughts, comments or suggestions are appreciated.
I've been working on new version of Character sheets that have less clutter. Please let me know what you think.

And here I was hoping for something devious involving an actual technomancer / spirit summoner.

Magic and Resonance is mutually exclusive (do you say that in English ? )

It's not possible to be a mage / aspected mage and technomancer. I don't recall anything prohibiting the calling rituals to TMs.
Leads me to believe you are wrong.

No magic attribute when you have a resonance score?
So you're limited by your magic level to summon spirit with stun drain and the double of it to summon with physical drain... So the mathematics give him the right to do it with a spirit at level 0 with physical drain equals to 0 with an absolute minimum value of 2... He will destroy is brain trying to build nothing...
May be fun to see that for the mage of the group :p
You can build a technical mystic adept uses to do the trick.

Open up Street Grimoire, read through the specific mechanics of summoning without Magic, then come back to fix up your post. ::)

Well, technically that's not summoning but calling.
The main difference being that you can't really control the called spirit. So the point stands: No summoning without magic attribute.
-
If you want to call a spade an implement for the loosening and excavation of debris, sure.
There's uncertainty in exactly what type of spirit you'll get, but after that? The short of it is that it's obligated to materialize, negotiate in a civilised manner, and presumably follow through on it's word. (however stubborn or tricky that may be)
-
Nope, it can just as likely appear hostile and ignore any pleas you make - which is exactly the difference between calling and summoning:
The Summoner can compel a spirit to do things it might not want to do (e.g. sustain a spell until it's burned out) while the caller might find itself holding the short end of the stick really fast if they aren't exceedingly careful and no what to offer in exchange.

Calling [Spirit Type] Ritual

It literally must materialise and negotiate. So no.
-
Negotiations with a hostile party seldom get you the results you want. Theoretically the spirit can name as its price that you kill yourself or something equally costly. It's fulfilled the negotiation part - it does not have to fulfill your requests at a price lower than it wants.
That's why summoning has been invented.
-
Hostility is not an assumed starting point, nor should it be unless it's toxic, monomaniacal beyond reasoning, or insulted during negotiations. None of those should be common problems for a capable character.
Refusal to budge from initially stating your conditions is something other than negotiating.
-
You are missing the point. I don't say it has to be that way, but that this are acknowledged possibilities within this very specific ritual.
I mentioned this to illustrate the fundamental difference between calling and summoning.
And as far as I'm concerned the thread is derailed enough. ;)
@Bushw4cker
The dicepools for common matrix actions seem to be a bit low - even if the character is relying on sprites.
Also Software should be higher and I don't see the chosen complex forms. Static Veil should be there as well as puppeteer.
