Hey everyone!
I had a chance to sit down and have a great talk with popular Shadowrun freelance writer, and member of the Shadowrun subreddit, Russell Zimmerman.
We had an awesome talk about writing for Shadowrun and for sci-fi/fantasy in general. In this, part 1, I learn who Rusty is, and what kind of writing he's done (spoiler... it's a lot of stuff!)
I hope you enjoy, there will be much more to come!

Good opening interview, interested in seeing what else Mr. Zimmerman has to share...
And maybe some other freelancers will volunteer for interviews. Its always nice to be able to put a live personality to the writers. It gives their work a more personal feel.

He's even more handsome than I thought! :-*

Great to see this and wholeheartedly agree with Reaver...would be great to see more freelancer spotlights. Over course, that would mean that they'd want to step out of the shadows... ;)

Note to self: Clean up the office.

I admit I wasn't sure what to expect for the voice, sometimes Art imitates Life and sometimes not.
This time it was like smoky bourbon poured into a chipped glass tumbler in 1930s style gin joint. You can almost feel the hat and trenchcoat.
If they ever do an Audiobook version for the Neat series, I know whose voice we want telling the tale.
Seriously, they should consider looking into the the voice acting bit as the animation companies are always looking for interesting voices to add to their stable.
