Handicapable Street Samurai made using Point Buy (Karmagen)
Few questions that came up while making this character.
What do you roll for Sneaking when you're in Wheelchair?
Can you have more than +4 Strength/Agility with Cyberlimbs, if you have a Cybertorso?
If you can, is there any reason why I shouldn't lower Agility and Strength to 1?
Any comments or suggestions are always appreciated.
Thanks 8)

1. Agility + Sneaking with whatever modifiers your GM applies for being in a wheelchair.
2. No, +4 is always the cap.
3. All depends on how your table runs cyberlimbs.
Comments. Build this character as a Rigger, use a Modified Scooter as your wheelchair. Melee Combat in a Wheelchair would pretty much be a -6 for you and +6 for the other guy unless your GM is going to let you use vehicle combat rules for melee. In which case, you should be a rigger.
And why wouldn't a superhuman cyborg get cyberlegs? I get the concept, but if you make a living with a Sword, you'd want your legs.
-
2. No, +4 is always the cap.
so how does that work with customized cyberlimbs?
Is my character legal?
Melee Combat in a Wheelchair would pretty much be a -6 for you and +6 for the other guy
Where do you get that from?
And why wouldn't a superhuman cyborg get cyberlegs?
He wants to be role model for all the aspiring para shadowrunners..
Don't let your disability stop your dreams of reveling in murder.
Did Oscar Pistorius let his disability stop him?

Customized limbs can go up to Racial max, then up to +4 from Enhancements.
Sword Fighting in a Wheelchair is covered on p. 278 of the core book.*
And Oscar Pistorius got Cyberlegs, such as we currently have.
* No, no it is not. This would be GM prerogative as sword fighting in a wheelchair is going to be very challenging. -6/+6 is about the largest penalty a GM can slap on someone. Presuming you're in something even remotely like our current RL Wheelchairs you'll be unable to defend most of the chair and your legs. Legs may not work, but they still bleed, you've got poor leverage and a height disadvantage. Your opponent is going to have pretty much free shots at the lower/front of your chair, you'll get knocked sideways or knocked over much more easily. You're going to get knocked sideways and your weak side will be very difficult to defend.
From an attack perspective you pretty well give up a foot of reach. You've got a more limited arc you can use, your center of gravity is terrible. Sitting is awful for leverage.
Anyway. If you GM decrees that fighting from a wheelchair is no penalty rock on.

(note: Oscar was a lower leg double amputee, not a paraplegic. He still had full use of his thighs and spine. A paraplegic is someone who as suffered a spinal cord injury and has lost feeling/movement from the waist down. two totally different injuries.)

I was joking..
-
I have a paraplegic character, but he's a mage. I can't really see any other character type besides maybe a rigger being functional as a paraplegic. :-\
-
Of course it will be trickier for everyone to run from a wheelchair but the only two build it is really crippling (sorry) are melee and infiltration (physical not social).
Even a gunner could work for the wheelchair, they could even use it at their advantage by using a Bipod/Tripod to ignore Recoil.
Hackers shouldn't be too limited by their wheelchair either. Face can also use it at their advantage, keep those guards busy by making them lifting your heavy wheelchair yay.

um..... No.... Just No....
Trust me, Its funny when it happens....

Hmm "shadowrunners get the fast and agile wheelchairs of marathoners and murderball athletes, not slow and cumbersome chairs" I assume these wheelchair should be able to support the recoil better than a classic one. I said 'ignore recoil' but not completely of course, just reduce it by the usual value from Bipod/Tripod.

Sorry, it's based off of personal experience. My Hunting buddy broke is leg a couple years ago, and to cheer him up (since he wouldn't be able to go hunting with us) I took him out the range so at least he could site his rifle in and fire off a few dozen rounds.
So there he is, in a wheelchair, wheel brakes on, lining of up the shot (and not using the table like I suggested).... and....
BANG!!! Crack!!!
The shot goes high.... and the chair rotates around the wheels, slamming his skull into the concrete floor.
So now he had a broken leg and a concussion....
And was really annoyed with me....

Ok, I admit it. I laughed, hard.
Now imagine that exact scenario, but with a blast spell. That is why Taliesin specializes in ritual magic and using astral projection to do jobs (because there's nothing that I know of that says his astral form can't walk). He also frequently uses task spirits to do things that he would otherwise struggle with.
Who says physics isn't fun?

Sixth World motorized wheelchair that is DNI controlled would be easy enough to lock the wheels in some way to fire. Tipping over may still be a problem depending on the kick.
Again, you're better off just playing a Rigger in a Scooter rather than screwing around with houseruling how all this actually works.
-
Consider the Ares-Segway Terrier. It's already designed to transport unconscious mages/riggers/deckers, and comes with gyro stabilisation.

You don't need a wheelchair or legs to kick ass...
