When you are doing a hack on the fly roll the system that defending does it have a limit on its roll also ?
Also has anyone else found its hard to find a GM that does not make the Matrix Impossible to hack ?
So far every game I have played of shadowrun 5th ed I keep finding GM's that make things like a Stuffer shack have like 22 dice for Int + Firewall. So I wanted to if they have a limit on their dice roll also.

Nope, resistance rolls usually don't involve a skill and therefore no limit applies.
That sounds like your GM doesn't want to deal with the matrix at all. 22 dice translates to a R10 Host, which is significantly above anything the book suggests.
This is one of those problems that you need to solve off-play.

A host running Stuffer Shacks shouldn't be rolling more than half that. Rating 4 at most, optimized to prioritize Data Processing, then Firewall, then Attack, witth Sleaze at a 4.
Definitely a case of dice pool escalation with no thought for verisimilitude.

That would be the case of a GM not thinking things through very well....
A stuffer shack has to process thousands of order requests and tranactions every day.... and has very few assets to protect (a free order). Such a system would be 4 to 6 dice total.

Stuffer Shacks are pretty much the definition of low-end commercial, which the books pegs as a Rating 3-4 host. The top attribute is almost certainly going to be Data Processing, so you're looking at 10 dice, max.
