Hello everybody, after reading rulebook one question appeared: How drones orient in space? Have they got in-built cameras or something like that? Or you need to buy it separately?
Only thing that I've found is on p276-277: "Housing: Sensors can be put into devices that have Capacity. Most vehicles and drones come factory-equipped with a sensor array (at a rating listed with their stats). Wall-mounted and handheld sensor housings are also available for your technological perception needs. Not every type of sensor package is capable of holding every sensor. The Sensor Packages table tells you the maximum sensor rating any particular package can hold."
So does it means that if I want to recon environment with my drone I need to buy a camera and somehow attach it to my drone? Same question about cars

On page 301+ you see for every vehicle and drone a sensor rating, thats the base sensor it has when you buy it.
On page 277 in table "Sensor Packages" you see how high the rating can be for Sensors in a vehicle/drone differing by size. In the table above called "Sensors" you see the "Sensor Array".
Now you can replace the "Sensor 2" default rating of a medium drone for example with the maximum possible "Sensor 4" rating for 4000Y extra.
Now you can pick 4 Sensor Function options (found on page 277 as well). For example Ultrasound, Olfactory Scanner, + 2 more.

Assume any vehicle has front and back cameras and an omni directional microphone I would say as generic default. Less if their sensor rating sucks.

I thought about that, and other question appeared: Drones shhot with sensor+soft or sensor-1.
So, if we upgrade Sensor array, will it change Sensor value?

Yeah, though it's very expensive.
