Beat Cop3/2
Sgt Micheal O'Rielly is living example of the cop who got busted back to walking a beat after pissing off the wrong Knight Errant pencil pusher when he came over from the 'Star.  Daniel saved his ass one of his first days back on the street.  He is a drinking buddy and the reason Daniel hasn't ended up in jail more than once.

---------------------------------------------------
Daniel Smiling Wolf is a full blooded Lakota Sioux.  He grew up living a charmed life of a small town sports hero in Montana.

Everything came pretty easy for him, his natural charisma and athletic ability combined with the magic that enhanced both, he was a happy and popular young man.

This came to a screeching halt for him when his parents were killed shortly after he came of age.  He was automatically granted a delayed waiver of his country’s military service obligation, but he turned it down and showed up for training as scheduled.  He seemed okay, but it was clear early on he was changed.

‘Smiley’s’ abilities caused him to gravitate towards the Wildcats, and he would have made it had it not been for an ill-advised and poorly executed dalliance with an older woman who happened to be married to his training company’s XO.  While this didn’t kill his military career, it was the first sign of what became a pattern in his life.  For the next several years, Daniel would prove himself capable and even heroic in all manner of high profile and dangerous assignments, then he would have some ill-advised situation, usually involving some combination of women, alcohol or fighting, that would derail him and then his charisma or friendships would pull him back from the brink.

His luck ran out when, while working security at STC HQ in Billings, he killed a man in self-defense, a man who happened to be married to a woman Daniel was seeing and who happened to an aide to the Salish Council representative.
He came to Seattle to hide and make a life for himself, but has not bothered to try and break his pattern of subtle self-destruction, if he is even aware of it.  He has found a niche as a face and hand to hand fighter, but has also become known on the party scene and usually blows through any money he makes as a runner.

Daniel is a friendly and happy person, and a capable member of a team.  He is also an alcoholic and living on the edge is the only way he has of dealing with his demons.

Name: Derrik Cash
Alias: Kage
Race: Human
Sex: Male
Nationality: UCAS/SINless
Lifestyle: Med (2 months paid)
Karma Spent: XXXXX
Physical Description: Height 6' Weight 185lbs Black hair kept short. Cybereyes are solid gold with a mirror like polish and his cyberarm is chrome with accents in gold. Dress a bit like street trash still. His main persona is a man shaped shadow with gold eyes, dressed in a dull chrome trench coat and fedora.
Personality/background Derrik grew up on the outskirts of the Loveland district of Puyallup. Recruited into the Reality Hackers by his cousin at the age of 13 he was one of the many who made the wireless age a success for the gang. He often participated in matrix attacks on the RH's hated yakuza enemies, who gave him the street name Kage (kah-gay; shadow). He deliberately mispronounces it using english phonetics. Recently a VERY successful run on Fort Lewis netted him a nifty mil grade comm and made him some connections in the shadows and some nice genetech from a grateful Evo. So he decided to leave the gang and hit the shadows full time. He remains on good terms with his old pals.
Kage is very cocky about his hacking skills, not without reason. It's his cockiness outside the matrix that he needs to learn to curb, at least until he gets more 'ware.

Background
Sir Kickz always found athletics easy and entertaining growing up, and his thirst for more and extreme athletic endeavors led him to parkour and freerunning. It is what turned his life towards the direction he’s in now. Parkour, like any sport that attracts attention or the want of attention from other practitioners will have a gravitational pull of the likeminded to each other. This is how the nucleus of the gang to be formed later would develop. Already mischievous by virtue of practicing their chosen sport, it started to turn steadily towards crime and of gang activity in relatively short order.

The ‘Lollipop Guild’ caught its name from both Seattle’s title of the Emerald City, and from part of the gang’s trade in drugs…i.e. ‘candy’ of which the gang of Traceurs (parkour practitioners) could also deliver to its customers even if grounded (sent to their rooms). The gang also makes very good second story thieves and short distance couriers. The gang has never staked out turf in the traditional sense, but operates mostly in the Lower Queen Anne area of downtown Seattle. The gang can be seen all over downtown Seattle practicing parkour/freerunning especially in the Interbay area around the Burlington train yards and in the Everett areas where the abandoned buildings are tempting to them.

It wasn’t till Tempo made the scene that the gang was actually classified as a criminal entity as such by Lonestar. It was internally a pivotal point as well, as the leader of the Lollipop Gang; King Flipso was unknowingly to the gang a Tempo addict and had decided under the influence of the drug that the gang would be changing focus towards criminality in total. A mini civil war erupted within the gang between those loyal to Flipso (mostly the younger members) and those who saw the direction the gang was heading was wrong. The civil war was settled not by force of arms, but by the over dosing death of Flipso. The gang already on the verge of dividing was pressed even further by the looming decision of succession. Sir Kickz and JumpUP were the top two and division seemed eminent until Sir Kickz through his hands up proclaiming “We cool, but this shit is old now.” With that Sir Kickz averted the gang civil war, some know the nobility of the act, but some, and particularly the youngest saw it as a real ‘slitch move’. Sir Kickz still has a relationship with the gang, but it’s not as tight as it used to be, but with his talents and abilities it didn’t take him long to find a new gig in the shadows

Name: Jaz Thorn
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 31
Job: Smuggler, good with a rifle

Jaz is known as, "the man you can count on" ... most of the time. Born in Kansas, Jaz was the son of a decent farmer, and lost his mother early on. His father Joad, taught Jaz how to be a strong independent man. Jaz fondly remembers shooting bottles off of fence posts since he was four. Jaz lost his father, he left Kansas for the allure of the cities and fell into a world of corruption and profits he would never leave, working his way across the country.Jaz now does odd jobs here and there; usually keeping a low profile due to the increasing security of many corporations in Seattle.
He knows when a job is acceptable, or damn near impossible. Unfortunately to Jaz, these to categories go hand in hand. He rides on the adrenaline as his teams work around the clock moving "questionable" shipments into the hands of those with "questionable" intentions.
Does Jaz care if he is fueling the fires of the unrest of the city? No, but he does see the potential to further expand his work, into a near revolutionary action. Jaz wants to end the corruption of the corporations, and it all starts with his next job, the seizing of a pre-war nuke.

"You're nothing but a sewer rat!" Rat's father had branded him in a drunken rage. Rat's father was drunk most of the time during Rat's growing up years. He'd turned to the bottle after having lost his janitor's job with one of the corps. It wasn't long before Rat's mother took the children and left. Now a single mom, she worked whatever she could to keep a roof over their heads. At 14 Rat joined a gang and left home for good. He still maintains contact with one of his sisters, but hasn't seen either of his parents in years.

Rat drifted from one gang to another, slowly building the skills and cyber implants that would help him in the shadow world. Two years ago, the group of runners that Rat was working with hit the biggest haul that Rat had ever seen. He got a lot of cash and some sophisticated gear and programs out of that deal and with that he started working as an independent runner.

The runner that had been hired to guard the warehouse didn't take kindly to losing the payday, along with most of his team. Malabar was his name and he's vowed to hunt down the runners that beat him. So far, to Rat's knowledge, Malabar has managed to kill the decker that broke the warehouse's security and seriously wound their shaman. Rat himself isn't too worried about Malabar, but Malabar was not one to give up on a grudge and Rat is sure that someday their paths will cross once again.

Dizzy was always crazy.  Even in a world of spirits and monsters she managed to strike people as weird.  She spent her childhood on the floor of her Puyallup home, playing with rag dolls and talking to things that weren't there.  And not in that, "talking to the spirits" sort of way.  There was literally nothing there, on the astral or otherwise.  The prison psychologist insists that she awakened exceptionally early, but Dizzy thinks he is a fool.  There is no such thing as magic.  It's just as fake as the Easter Bunny, or objective reality, or serving a full prison sentence.  There is only thought and will.  Her will was sharp, like a monowire, able to slip through the cracks in the world and in other people, to remake them to her liking.

It was this same fool psychologist who let her go.  It seemed that, with the shakeup between Lone Star and Knight Errant, the local syndicates were exerting more pressure on the now-weakened LS corps.  Lone Star prison personnel were being coerced to hand over more and more control of their prison industry to rival syndicates, and without control of the streets, LS was unable to respond as they once were.  The man in question, the psychologist, was being pressured by the Komun'go Seoulpa Ring to have several inmates declared mentally unstable and transported to the psychiatric wing.  He tried to report it and his wife and three-year-old child were slaughtered in their home.  Unable to bear this, the man turned to Dizzy.  He knew that she was cold-hearted and dangerous, but she seemed quite professional and reasonable, within the framework of her madness.

He covertly arranged for her escape in return for revenge on those who had taken his wife and child from him, and he had one of the many morally-derelict surgeons install a cranial bomb in her head as insurance to the task.  Dizzy slipped out from the place and disappeared into the shadows.  A week later, still waiting for confirmation that his family had been avenged, the psychologist suddenly came to the realization that he had never married and had no child.  There had never been a murder to avenge.  There had never been a cranial bomb.  He had just loosed a psychopath into the world, unbidden.  As I said, he was a fool.

Cool everyone has there characters posted already. I'll make the first IC post here in a bit. Just a couple of questions from reviewing the characters.

ChaosDman- what level is the hunted and who is hunting Jazz?

Loki- augmentation addict is a cool negative quality, but I will warn you now it will come into play, and since I am looking to make this an ongoing series it could make you have to sit out a run due to getting work done. (you could always play another character for that run)

Blue- What is Rat's allergy to?

Also I've pasted the characters to a word doc for my reference during play so please don't just edit them any more after this just post additional info so I can make sure I get it onto the character sheet.

I look forward to the game and hope everyone has fun

One last thing I forgot originally in the post. The opening IC post will be a bit long and I'll run it right up to when you meet with the Johnson. Most of my posts won't be so long winded, but I figured it is the best way to get the game going and give you a feel for what to expect from it also

Dang! Thought I'd finally got all the details set. His allergy is to combat stimulants. I've updated the post above for later reference.

I had originally built dizzy for a avail 8 game, so I had some strange things like the RFID camera to try and get enough sensor channels for a R2 tacnet.  Since I could just put that in glasses instead with an avail 12 limit, I went ahead and did that.  The money saved was used to buy Laes cigs.  Anyway, a few minor changes in gear, but the sheet should be finalized now.

Don't know if you want rolls here or in the IC thread, so I'm going to put them here for now.

Rolling up a block of Assensing for the bar.
6d6.hits(5) → [3,4,3,2,2,6] = (1)
6d6.hits(5) → [1,5,1,2,3,4] = (1)
6d6.hits(5) → [2,6,1,2,4,4] = (1)
6d6.hits(5) → [4,2,4,6,5,3] = (2) (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2920456/)
Almost forgot how terrible Diz is at assensing..

And a negotiation roll.
6d6.hits(5) → [6,3,4,4,4,6] = (2) (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2920462/)

For rolls lets put them here for things like the assensing, and negotiation etc. For skills like infiltration where you know how you did and you are going to keep posting after the roll just put it all in the IC post. I don't think it matters too much one way or the other as long as the rolls are posted.

Heck let's do this. Everyone weigh in on which way they would like to do it, and think would work better.

I think it is easier to say you have worked with each other once or twice before. That way we don't have to worry about the introductions and uncertainty of trust between characters.

Works for me. Also, personally, posting rolls inline with your IC posts makes sense when they would control the flow of what you're doing.

Then there is one very important inter-character relationship to be defined.

Kontact: Has Dizzy rejected Smiley?  If so, how forcefully?  If not, what is the status of their connection?  Ie, has it gotten physical?  The creepy stare thing would have been a turn-on for him, just so it is said.

And yes he would have put the moves on her by now, if they worked together even once.
Title: Re: OOC Finders Fee
Post by: Kontact on <03-05-11/2019:38>
For rolls I'd say block rolls like extended tests should be done OOC since they're full of clutter.  Regular opposed and threshold tests in IC just for simplicity of reference.

As to Dizzy's attitudes, she's very ordered and controlling.  I sort of like the idea that she would decide to go along with him and and his charms, but then alter his memory of it afterward so that he's perpetually pursuing her.  Sort of like playing hard to get, but without all the downside.  She's too emotionally closed off for any sort of real relationship though.

OK it looks like the best way to do things is the "in action" tests will be in the IC post and then diminishing and over time tests we will do in the OOC posts. Everyone will use invisible Castles for their rolls and post them along with a link. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns

By the way Loki, you can hide your running programs with Stealth.   ;)

Quote
If your target is running a Stealth program, the Matrix
Perception test becomes an Opposed Test, with the target rolling
Hacking + Stealth (or Firewall + Stealth for programs or nodes) as
the opposing dice pool. The hits from this test reduce your hits and
consequently the amount of information you get. If you garner no
net hits, the target is not invisible as such, but its icon has melded
into the background of data traffic, escaping your notice.

I'm going to keep the bar scene moving even though the matrix action would happen in the amount of time of the greeting and maybe some small talk at one of the tables. However I don't want to drag the game while waiting on the back and forth of the matrix.

By the way guys, having assensed the guy's signature, Dizzy can picture it at any time and can send a Spirit out on a Search task to find the guy.  So long as he's not behind a massive mana barrier (like in his magic lodge) or huge distances away, it'll only take about a half hour to reacquire McPherson with magic if he shakes us.

As of now, if any violence breaks out, my plan is to use the spirit to possess the bouncer, use the bouncer to subdue the target and use stunball to shut down the guy's followers.

I have a couple of ideas of my own, my thought is to act like my ride gave me a heads-up to possible vandalism/tracking as well and use that as a means to talk to the guy or con him into letting me get close.

Or just subdue him and stuff him in a trunk.

Smiley wasn't out of the bar yet when the scene with the elf and Vincent parting ways ended though he was just about to the door.

She is a mage and a club owner, just taking advantage of the mage half, hoping she has heard something useful about the Full Moon or explain how fake enchanting would work and how powerful Mcpherson might be to do it.  Not expecting much, if anything, but wanted to try.  Plus, there is bonus points in the fact that she is a girl ;)

Question, as I'm not entirely sure. Can our mark actually recognize all our astral signatures from walking about? I mean the club was for the awakened so wouldnt it be like trying to recognize everyone from walking into a club or bar?
Title: Re: OOC Finders Fee
Post by: Kontact on <03-23-11/1633:31>
Once seen, a person's aura can be forever recognized with 2 hits on an assensing test.  It's etched into memory in a way that faces and such are not.

By the way, Walks, do you want to apply standard perception bonuses and penalties to assensning?  Stuff like "far away" or "actively looking" etc.  Background Count and FAB grenades are basically the same as vision modifiers, so there are analogs across the board.
Title: Re: OOC Finders Fee
Post by: Walks Through Walls on <03-23-11/1719:33>
We will use some sort of modifiers when appropriate, but far away has a different meaning in astral space.

The other thing to remember is that with assensing is that it is an opposed test if the being that is assensed has masking metamagic or a similar power

Post by: Walks Through Walls on <03-23-11/1945:16>
Just a bit about my GMing style since it is harder to portray in PbP.

1) I emphasis role playing over roll playing. Because of this I try to describe the scene in detail and include things that don't necessarily mean anything to what is going on (or will set up something in the future). Also I try to include multiple senses to give it a more realistic feel.

2) Though you are all the center of the story that doesn't mean that there aren't things out there that you don't know about, have access to, or once you know wish you could be oblivious to again.

3) I am looking towards building an ongoing campaign type setting. Characters will come and go I'm sure and the possibility of changing out some characters from run to run could a bit more seamless in PbP. Because of this ongoing play I will send out mixed info, things that could side track you or even out and out red herrings. Sometimes they will mean something later, but often they won't. (Also just because it is done more than once doesn't mean it is important.)

4) I believe that negative qualities are important and should be played. I will reward you for staying in character especially when it isn't what is best for you, but what your character would most likely do.

5) I am playing to have fun, and hope you all have fun also. If there is something I do or rule and you think it is wrong or don't understand it I will be happy to discuss it with you (as long as it doesn't ruin a plot line, and then I will talk about it after the plot line is resolved)

I think that is all for now. I hope everyone is enjoying it so far.

optiminization 2                     availability +2(or 4 depending on interpretation of rules)  cost 4,500 nuyen
the other option                     availability +2                cost 4,500 nuyen

So you are looking at a base availability of 14 at a cost of 10,500 nuyen. This means that your time frame for checks is 1 week
With the other added options (being nice and only adding 2 for optiminization) you are at a base availability of 18 and cost of 19,500 nuyen.

You make this check as a negotiation + charisma test since you are using a contact you are using swag through him so you have his charisma + negotiation + connection rating. Since it is through hacker house I will give some extra dice and since you are offering a favor for low risk he will even use edge. So lets say you get up to 20 dice. Now you can spend extra money to add dice and speed things up at a rate of 1 die for an extra 25% up to 10 extra dice (which would increase the cost by 250% to 36,750 nuyen at your base to 67,250 nuyen for the tricked out version)

Now say you go for the gusto and spend the money for the 10 dice you now have 30 dice to get 18 successes to be able to get it in 1 week. I'll say for each 2 more successes you can shave a day off the time frame. The after getting it down to 1 day for 5 more successes can get it to your 1 hour time frame. So lets see you would need 35 successes to get what you want as fast as you want. Here is a test roll:

30d6.hits(5) → [5,6,4,4,5,3,5,1,3,4,1,4,1,3,1,5,3,5,2,3,1,4,5,4,4,2,3,3,3,1] = (7)
With only 1 6 to reroll you can see that you aren't going to get to the 35 total you need.

So decide what you really need or are willing to sacrifice to get down your availability and I'll have your contact check if they can get it in time for you

Wow, I totally had no idea getting stuff mid run was such a PITA.
Looking over the program options, I had the cost of the mute option wrong in my head, but so do you so I don't feel so bad.  :) It's 750/rating with unrated options figured at rating 3 so 2,250. The other two are general options going for 100/rating and +1 avail. So 8,750 total which, after the 20% to the contact, I can't afford.

Gotta read the avail rules to better grasp how they work and see if I can swing this.

Edit: Bah that's a frustrating, the best I can get is a 2 day frame. Guess I have to wait to get it as I've no desire to waste cash on a lower rated program and the avail is still decent on anything at my current programs level..

I read the /rating part to mean the rating of the program you are adding it to. So being that you are adding it to a rating 6 program it adds 4,500 to the total cost, but I will look at it more. I just looked at it quickly to try and figure out what would be possible
Title: Re: OOC Finders Fee

Naw, it's just the rating of the option that counts toward price.  There are unrated and rated options though.  Stuff like optimization is rated, while something like ergonomic is unrated.  Psychotropic or Biofeedback are a couple of heavy options that are rated.

I take it you're not using the software piracy rules though.
For blackmarket software, pirated gear is de rigueur.

Finding a pirated copy of a program is detailed on p 94 of Unwired.

Here's the highlights,
Quote
However, with a little work a hacker can gain access to the
peer-to-peer file sharing networks of the Cracker Underground
(see Virtual Private Networks, below), where she can find and
download programs for a nominal fee.
Finding and getting access to an appropriate network requires
an Extended Data Search + Browse (8, 1 day) Test.

Once a character has made contact with the
Cracker Underground, he can start looking for some-
thing to download. To find a specific program on the
file sharing network, make an Extended Data Search +
Browse (Availability + Desired rating, 1 Combat Turn)
Test. Downloading the program to your commlink or
terminal costs 10 percent of the street price of the pro-
gram (see Program Costs and Availability, p. 228, SR4).
A glitch on the Search Test indicates the program is
not on the network, and the hacker must find another
network and try again; a critical glitch indicates the
character has downloaded a bogus program infected
with one or more viruses.

So, without an existing contact in the cracker underground, it should take a couple days of searching to find a hookup.
Once you've got access to cracked programs, finding the one described should be Data Search + Browse (22) test, which isn't out of the question.

We can use the piracy rules, but we are still talking a day or more to get the program.

Personally, I think the piracy rules could use some work, especially on the end of getting access to a VPN.  If all it takes is a browse check, it's really not underground at all.  There ought to be some vetting process, something technical and social, to make sure that you belong there..
Title: Re: OOC Finders Fee
Post by: Walks Through Walls on <03-27-11/1912:18>
Sounds reasonable and good to me. I'm open to suggestions. I also am afraid that as it is piracy makes programs too accessible and cheap and has the possibility to unbalance the game.
Title: Re: OOC Finders Fee
Post by: Kontact on <03-27-11/2135:52>
Well, really the existing problem is that a hacker needs basically every program out there at high levels just to operate (well, not EVERY program,) but each one costs as much as a standard drone.  Though piracy and degredation along with malware, bugs and so forth make stuff really complicated.
Title: Re: OOC Finders Fee
Post by: Loki on <03-27-11/2317:53>
Yeah the piracy rules are a bit too free with the access to full programs, maybe up the price a bit. As to access, I figure that could be gotten from a contact or possibly as one. I kinda thought hacker house was like those pirate sites, just didn't want to come off as a complainer.

The program degradation is a concern to me due to the intervals on program coding tests. No way you can upkeep a pile of decent programs without trading upgrades with other hackers.

I would say not.  Not really her style.  Besides, she has a logic of 2 and no computer skill.  I doubt she knows how to set preferences.

While we wait, or even while Vincent drives, Kage will run a data search in gridlink for the Johnson's vehicle using his travel times/places from the traffic cameras. As it is an in system search it's just a complex action per roll, I'm shooting for the hidden/obscure threshold of 12 as I figure it's better to roll to many times than bog things down by needing more :)
roll 1 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2957918/ 4 hits
roll 2 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2957919/ 6 hits
roll 3 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2957920/ 3 hits

After that a search of said ID's movements(if applicable)
roll 1 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2957923/ 3 hits
roll 2 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2957925/ 5 hits
roll 3 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2957926/ 6 hits

He'll then copy any/all relevant data to his comm and delete records of his search.

The watcher should just follow Rat for now.  It'll be used it to communicate with the team from the astral once that starts, which should be as soon as she's safely in the autocab.  I want to try and visit his haunts and see if one of them has his lodge in it.

You'll only have time to go to one before he leaves so let me know which one if you go physically. Since it wounds like you are doing astral recon you will get to all of them. Which one will you start with?

Also Kontact you asked earlier if critical successes refreshed a point of edge and I think I forgot to reply. So I will now and the answer is yes

1) a downtown address in the business district that you quickly cross reference as the headquarters for Full Moon Vanguards  doubt he sleeps there.

2) the bar he is currently in yep

3) an apartment complex in Auburn at 17 West Talcom Street which is just off 164 south of the Federated Boeing Facility  Gonna start here.  It's furthest away, but close to the next one.

4) A duplex in Everett 7831 Glenridge Road off 99 just west of Everett Beacon Mall  second stop on the magical mystery tour

5) A duplex in Bellevue 5525 Bayview Circle off 90 right on the lake front across from Council Island final stop.  riskiest area to get caught fucking about in and closest to current location.

BTW, guys, the Johnson said that they guy has a place in Tacoma.  He must be pretty used to slipping trails if his registered vehicle doesn't have records of him going home.

I have a good friend who was playing a character and needed to dodge the one security guard's single pistol shot with his mage. Not having a great reaction he decided to use edge. Then he promptly critically glitched. Oh did I mention he was in a stairwell one flight up from the said guard.

Eight bounces later (one for each step) the character was laying at the feet of the guard with a bullet in the chest. The surprising thing is they lived, and got out of the situation. I think this is because it was an NPC shooting at the character not "friendly" fire.

I say this because the same friend has lost two characters in my games over the years. Both were at the hands of other characters.

Yeah dice karma is bizare some times.

Watcher spirits have 2 dice for perception.
I have a Force 5 spirit providing Concealment for itself, myself and the whole party.
That gives the spirit negative three dice to see me.

Additionally, here's my astral Infiltration roll.
6d6.hits(5) → [4,5,3,4,2,1] = (1) (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3005689/)

Almost forgot, can I tell if he's dual-natured or not?  Like, is the difference between an aura and an astral form obvious?
If he's dual-natured, I'd like to break some mana-spells out on him, specifically alter memory.

Kontact doesn't the spirit have to be with you in order to conceal you? Since you had told it to stay with Rat and protect him and allow you to communicate before I thought that was the case now also. So we will back up a bit and make sure I understand what your spirit is doing, and I'll edit my post as necessary once we have it figured out
Title: Re: OOC Finders Fee
Post by: Loki on <05-02-11/1844:04>
Actually spirits do not need LoS to maintain a powers effect on someone(spells as powers and counterspelling being exceptions IMO). They do need it to initiate the effect however. The rules are on page 293 of SR4A in the part discussing sustained duration critter powers.

Edit: For the conceal to effect us folks on the physical plane it'd have to posses someone tho, so Diz and her spirity lil friends are the only ones covered by it. Also I think the spirit with Rat is a watcher.
Title: Re: OOC Finders Fee
Post by: Kontact on <05-02-11/1914:25>
I did leave the spirit to guard rat while I was away moving my body.  That's it's final service, but the Concealment came before that.  Loki is right about sustaining though, so that previous service should still be in effect, but only for me and the ghosty.

Just to let you know, Dizzy has no magical knowledge skill.  She's a natural at manipulating mana, but has no idea about research and, as a Psionic, rejects the idea of ritualized magic.

I mention this, because she has no idea what to expect from a vampire or from other mages and anything the Johnson could tell her would be extremely useful for her..

Okay I am officially confused, where is Diz?  I thought she was eyes on the mark and was only able to talk to Rat.  Which is partly why Smiley was not acting on anything she said, only what Rat relayed to him.

Rat is still in overwatch if Johnson decides to take a shot at Smiley and Kage right?
