Want some critique for this character. Relatively new to the game, and we are moving to the 6E from 5E, this time i want my mage to work.

I typically GM, so I will give you my opinion.
You skills and spells look okay. I actually like that you gave yourself Incompetent in Enchanting (not that it's very useful right now).
Gear: I always recommend a Gas Mask and Survival Kit.
Contacts, starting off, I probably wouldn't let you have a C8/L8 contact. Unless you have a really good story/reason why.
If you get in a pinch for money, maybe remove the Thermal from your contacts. You already have Low-Light.
I would also prob. down grade or not use the Doc Wagon contract. Use that money to get better livestyle. Not good to come back from a run and not have any chance at security/protection. However, you group may play different then ours.
