Title: [SR6] Gecko Tape Gloves
Post by: Sugarpink on <05-06-20/1415:53>
I do believe this is a copy-paste error from 5E but I am just asking to make sure. The Gecko Tape Gloves entry in the 6E Corebook talks about getting the benefit from "Assisted Climbing". But there is no rules for Assisted Climbing anywhere in the 6E book. However, Assisted Climbing was a thing in 5E so I would believe that that is what happened.

If I am right, does anybody have a suggestion on what Gecko Tape Gloves should do in 6E?

The use of a gecko tape gloves provides a bonus Edge on climbing related tests.

So you'd treat them as a better climbing kit. Sounds good to me.

Should probably also add: If you do not use this point of Edge on the test, it goes away.
