Ok, so the MEMS (p. 48 in FS) is an interesting addition. But... what the heck does Capacity 12/8 mean? And why does the last sentence in the table say the capacity is 10? And on p. 55 in the table it has a Capacity of 20.
Which one is it now? I'm so confused.

Basically the MEMS Harness has 12 MEMS-only capacity at the front, 8 at the back, and 10 generic Armor Capacity that can also take other Armor Modifications. So e.g. Non-Conductivity 5, Chemical Protection 5, on the back two Medkit Pouches plus a Tactical Sling Mount on a big gun, while on the front two quickdraw holsters, 1 equipment pouch with a flashbang in it, and 4 ammo pouches. That's 10 normal Capacity, 8 MEMS back capacity, 12 MEMS front capacity.
The table is horribly wrong.

Getting another 10 capacity ontop of what the armor already gives you and what the MEMS primary function is, feels quite overpowered for a 300 ny item...

Eh, it's a rather visible thing so people won't wear those everywhere.

Also is that just your interpretetion that the 12/8 means front/back (no other place has it noted like that), and that the 10 is on top, or was there a clarification somewhere that I missed?

The writer confirmed it on Facebook, in the Shadowrun 6th Edition Chummers group, when this question came up 10 weeks ago.
OK, writer here. The 12/8 is supposed to be the capacity for external things like ammo pouches on the front/back. The 10 is for more internal armor mods such as fire resistance. There was an asterisk next to the 12/8 that explains in my draft. But have no idea of what happened to it.
