Title: Atlanta in different sourcebooks
Post by: Karasin Black on <04-04-11/0704:26>
I've only started gamemastering Shadowrun from the 4th edition. I'm trying to dig up information about Atlanta. Any tips on where to look from?

For a really in depth and detailed look at the ATL, Hot-lanta if you will, I recommend the documentary The Deep South. (http://www.videolog.tv/video.php?id=621601)

As I understand it, this documentary was shot in real time. An equal to Ken Burns or Shelby Foote in every regard.

Hiya

I'm actually GM'ing a SR4 game with the setting in Atlanta and I live in Atlanta.  Since there wasn't much written, I wrote a setting based on the current city and laws that are proposed for the future such as the Milton Referendum.

shoot me an email and I can send in pdf - the file might be too big for the forums.

Also did an extensive travel write up

I think it's more along the lines that Crimson can't read it due to his professional connection to Catalyst rather than file size. It's a industry hazard when you write for gaming companies: you can't read fan material because then it may influence your work and then lawyers may be involved.

Gotcha!  I'm a novice writer actually.  Being cited would be enough and of course a free copy of the book.
