Title: Essay about Shadowrun
Post by: EltonJ on <12-12-23/1415:12>
I wrote an essay on how I like SR4A (https://elton-journey-rpg.blogspot.com/2023/12/why-shadowrun-is-better-than-d.html) over D&D.  Although directed to players of D&D, I think I explained myself well.  Notice, I talk about SR4A and not SR5 or SR6.  Although I might pick up a copy of SR6 and give that a fair review.  I still play SR4A, and I'm running a game today.

Note to you all, it's directed to D&D players and not players of Shadowrun.

And you start you paper with "Shadowrun is much better than D&D by all accounts." :D

Shadowrun is much better than D&D by all accounts.”

How did you possibly compile the account of every person whom has ever played both games?

“Although Dungeons and Dragons from Wizards of the Coast is marketed as the best Roleplaying game [sic][.]”

Citation needed.

“While the chances are just about the same, you find that you have a better chance of success in Shadowrun than in D&D or Pathfinder.”

This is self-contradictory statement.

For you DnD players and collectors in the States. Ollie's Descount Stores have a bunch of DnD merchandise. Everything from books, to sets to action figures!

I agree with your conclusion - both games can bring enjoyment. And they do it for me in turn.
