Title: Firing Squad Errata
Post by: MercilessMing on <12-13-23/1122:38>
All errata threads on Firing Squad I found were about specific items, so here is a general errata thread.

Pg. 103, Ballestra
The function of this Martial Art Technique is to reduce the cost of the Edge Action: Shank by 1.

However, in the CRB City Edition: Seattle (pg. 48), the Edge cost of Shank is 1.
Since the cost of an Edge Action can never be zero, Ballestra does nothing.

From the official Firing Squad Errata (https://www.shadowrunsixthworld.com/wp-content/uploads/Firing-Squad-Errata-FAQ.pdf):

P. 103, DOES BALLESTRA REDUCE THE COST OF SHANK TO 0?
Yes. This is an exception to the general rule that Edge actions cannot have their cost reduced to 0. Note that even
though the cost is 0, it still counts as an expenditure of Edge, so other expenditures like rerolling failures is still not an option
when you use Ballestra.

What?? When was this published?????

There is of course a loophole to that note about Edge expenditures, since Signature Maneuvers allow a limited way to combine expenditures of Edge.

I got my copy back in October.

pg 13 - "Long Tooth" Collapsible Staff does Stun damage in staff form but Physical damage in collapsed club form. Both should probably be Stun.

Note this is separate from the bladed mode. The released errata document only addresses the blade portion of the Long Tooth.
