[13:00 22 July 2071]

The day started out a normal Wednesday for Manhattan. The never-ending search for work in the shadows created by the Manhattan Developent Consortium and the inheret dangers of doing so continue. Which is why, when you hear that the development contractor arrested for the destruction of the Brooklyn Bridge is going to speak with the authorities, your ears perk up. If there’s ever a thing that generates more work for the shadows its intrigue and the bridge’s fall stirred up nothing if not intrigue.

@Chains: Your hopes that some of the work will come your way are answered by Mentat’s message. <<I got your first job in the rotten apple chummer. Seems a Ms. Johnson is willing to meet you in Brooklyn to discuss some possible biz connected to the fall of the Brooklyn Bridge. You won’t be going at it alone though, seems the J has a few other potential co-workers coming as well. You’re to meet your future mates at Miso’s Restaurant at 60 Main St at 7 tonight, ask for the Johnson party, and from there all of you are to meet Mrs. Johnson at 1 Main St. at 8pm.>>

@Yurei: Just as you were starting to get worried about how you’re going to keep Hayate from paying you an unfriendly visit, the call you were hoping would come, comes in from Reno. Reno says, “I have a Ms. Johnson who is in need of someone with your skills. Interested?” Without giving you a chance to respond he continues,  “Of course you are. Meet your potential co-workers at Miso’s Restaurant at 60 Main St. at 7 tonight, ask for the Johnson party. From there you and your co-workers are to meet Mrs Johnson at 1 Main St. at 8pm.”

@Meat Puppet: It doesn’t surprise you when you get the call from Fixer-X. “Hey chicka, what are you wearing right now? *chuckles* Wait don’t tell me, how bout I just come over and see?”  Without waiting for you to respond,  “But before that I have some biz for you, unless you’re too busy getting small change cred through Madame April.”  He continues,  “There’s a Ms. Johnson that wants to meet you in Brooklyn to discuss a, what did she call it? Oh right. A business venture connected to the situation surrounding the bridge, or some shit like that. You’re to meet your potential partners in crime at Miso’s Restaurant at 60 Main St at 7 tonight, ask for the Johnson party. After that you and your newly acquired posse are to meet Mrs. J at the marina down the street at 8pm. Oh and some advice, don’t order the house special at Miso’s, it taste like crap.”

@Druid: It doesn’t surprise you when Chip sends you a voice message. “Work involving the Brooklyn Bridge’s fall, if you’re interested, meet the other runners at Miso’s Restaurant at 7 tonight, ask for Johnson party, then Mrs. Johnson at the nearby marina at 8pm. Data file to follow this message.” Straight to the point as always. The data file contains the address of the restaurant and the marina (60 Main St, Brooklyn and 1 Main St, Brooklyn respectively).

@Nexus: It doesn’t surprise you when you get the call from Rodent. “You in town? Yea? Great, seems the great rat was looking out over me today. Huh?”  Seemingly talking to someone with him, “What was that? Yes Apollo, I have some food for you, here you go.” After a short pause he realizes, “Wait I’m on a call? Who am I talking to? Oh right, Nexus! I have a Ms. Johnson wants to meet you in Brooklyn. Seems she has some work involving the Brooky Bridge coming down. She’ll be at 1 Main St in Brooky at 8pm. Ok, Apollo says good luck.”  Again talking to someone else,  “What was that? I told him, I did! Oh wait, you’re right.” Back on track, he says, “Nexus, you need to meet the rest of your team before the meet. Meet them at Mikeys Restaurant at 60 Main St at 7 tonight, ask for the Johnson party. May the great rat protect you in your hidden endeavors.”

@Fixer-x> Hey fix, do I look like com-sex girl? If you don't know what I am wearing or not wearing, then you are not desperate enough yet. Kisses. I will be there for the meet at Miso's . MS April wanted me to remind up to pay up your tab. Thanks hugs.

Druid sighed, stretching his arms as he listened to Chip's voice message.  I'm not sure where Miguel met Chip, still there's no doubt that he's come through more than once and his tips for work are always worth the trouble.  Besides, that fat prick of a landlord is going to come knocking on my door.   Druid searched for information on Miso's on his commlink as he walked towards the door, an old leather jacket in his right hand.

walking the stretch of tracks leading in to the westbound departure yard, Nexus leads a couple of greenhorns to a string of loaded cans and with a quick glance back and forth locates a discreet ride for them. here ya go omaes.  this here's going for the long haul to Chicago.  stay down and when you hear a worker connecting the airhoses, that means you'll be leaving right quick.  o and some advice: bail off in Gary if you can-Chi-town bulls ain't changed much since they gave me this.  With a grimace, he pulls up his sleeve, revealing a dark scar running from his shoulder down to what was once a real, flesh and blood elbow.  piece of drek said next time it's my neck.with that he walked away, smiling to himself and rubbing his scar-whic he actually received from the street level "doctor who put his left arm in.  ya get what you pay for.  As he makes his way out of the yard, he receives♠ a call from a squeaky male voice he immediately identifies as 'Rodent', his current fixer.  Unable to get a word in until Rodent finishes his rant, Nexus finally tells him new team huh?  they better be up to par...  his implied query does unanswered.  Rodent hung up.  He walks across from the yard to his apartment, throws on a pot of his hard earned, genuine coffee, and checks online for "Mikey's restaurant".  finding that the address is home to a restaurant called "Miso's", not "Mikey's", he curses himself for not finding a relatively sober fixer. oh well.  Rodent may be a cram-head but he ain't ever failed me.  so far.  Nexus finds the restaurant's AR page, and looks up their security procedures for cyberware and firearms.  just another day.

Meat Puppet takes sometime going through her closet looking for the right clothes for a meet like this. With half her clothes laying on the bed, she lets out a frustrated sigh and decides she has absolutely nothing to wear. She decides she needs to go shopping. She gets dressed and puts herself together and heads for the shopping district for a day of shopping for clothes, coffee, lunch, facial and full body massage.

@Druid: A quick search online turns up the following blurb from a restaurant review site.
>Miso's is a small, relatively low cost, soy-sushi bar with mediocre quality food. I give it 2 out of 5 sushis.
>SushiLover - 13 Oct 2070

>Has great sushi. Used to be a nice and quiet place to eat until lately. Last couple times I ate there a bunch of low-lifes that were probably SINless scum came in causing trouble, making lots of noise, and breaking things.
>DockMaster - 28 Feb 2071

>Haz terible food! Dont com hear! Ownr iz chep even thow u knw he haz lotsa cred!
>Axe Masta - 05 Jul 2071

You also find their site (continued below).

@Nexus: You pull Miso's site and find no information regarding a weapons/cyber policy. Seems their too small time to even have a policy. (more info below)

@Druid & @NexusPulling up their site reveals it's pretty generic and obviously being hosted by a low cost, pick a template for your site's/node's design/sculpting and fill in the details, company. There you find their menu (which is pretty standard fair for a sushi bar), an about us section (We've been around since... blah blah... we're here to provide you with the best soy-sushi in Brooklyn... blah blah...), and a couple images of the restaurant (A set on Flickr I made for this game (http://www.flickr.com/photos/fazzamar/sets/72157626824820396/)).

I'm not really feeling Sushi, but this looks like my kind of place.  Well, if they were serving up some nice Asado or Aborrajado anyway
Druid checks his spare clips as he leaves, eyes glancing around for Christina.
She's definitely a user.  I'm sure she'd be interested to meet someone who can score some decent deepweed
Satisfied with the reviews of Miso's, Druid heads out towards Brooklyn, pulling up the latest Tenochtitlan Volcanoes match.
I've still got time, maybe I should grab a beer before the meet.

Later in the afternoon Meat Puppet will have Lilith(agent) look up Miso's on the Matrix.

Wow this place is a real dive. I maybe over done it with the new clothes. Maybe I should have looked it up instead of assuming. Oh well, The new clothes are perfect for a nice place. It looks like urban chic and my lined coat, but what color.

She will have her dinner early, afraid to touch anything on there menu, soy or not. She will arrive at the meet at the appointed time.

Arriving at his humble apartment, Nexus pulls the chicken breast he's been thawing off of the counter, batters it, and tosses it in a pan of genuine pork fat.back in the fraggin city...hell at least i don't have to eat any more of that soy drek they call food these days...shit! Out of hot sauce again... he sighs, takes his goggles and headphones off, and sets his deck on a trid channel, while he sits down on his couch, opening up a good ol' fashioned paper-and-ink book. Never mind that he's doing nothing illegal-Nexus likes to maintain a certain image for his "clean cut" SIN.  and let's face it: only neo-@s and historians read books anymore.  His mind wanders....never did like working with new faces.  Too many runners these days'll blast ya through yer skull fer a couple'a lousy cred.  Maybe I'm just old and jaded...Brooklyn bridge huh?..............i s'pose a job's a job....................................................

Nexus wakes up with a start.  A quick glance out of his tiny living room window reveals a darkening sky.  SHIT!  he throws his AR goggles on and checks the time: 6:00pm EST.
gettin' sloppy old man he thinks to himself, throwing his armor jacket on over his dingy black shirt, grabbing his trusty predator cannons out of the closet and scarfing the remaining chicken down his throat before heading out the door.
<<search_public.nfo="current lowest traffic route: 60 Main St. Brooklyn">>
finding his route, Nexus speeds off on his bike to what he knows will be a thoroughly unappetizing drek-hole of a sushi stand.

Yurei, 13:00, 22 July, 2072
A single wheeled motorcycle pulls up to the curb of a nice neighborhood with a rider dressed in a black jumpsuit and motorcycle hemet. The rider takes the helmet off revealing a sounder Asian man of Japanese decent. His hair is cut short in and older fashion for someone who seems to be in his early twenties. He unzips his jumpsuit and ties the sleeves around his waist. His shirt is casual business and seems out of place for a man on a cyclopes motorcycle. He kicks the jack stand down and dismounts the bike not simingly out of place for the upper scale neighborhood. Laning down beside the bike he opens a compartment inside the wheel well and removes a backpack. Placing it off to the side he starts to disasemble the vehicle, which despite it's sturdy appearance seems to be manufactured for this purpose. As he takes the bike apart he starts to store it in a larg locker outside the house he is at. After finishing his work a few minutes later he closes the locker, secures the maglock on the outside of it, slings the pack over his shoulders and move to the front door that opens on his approach. Entering the building he moves into the kitchen as if he has been here and done this a million times before. His home is sparcelyfurnished with the latest aminaties and comforts. As he walks through the home the lights come on in the room he is in and shuts off as he leave. His AR is alight with visuals of Trid programs on the local network. The one that he stops on is the current Urban brawl league game currently being held in NYC. He let's out a rough sigh, Slashers are going to lose again. rubbing his eyes with one hand he sits down to finish watching the game and also pulls up a calculator in another window. Several numbers begin the appear as he calculates how much he is going to owe after this poor showing by the favorites in this sporting event. A call comes in for the man by the name of Reno and it is promptly displayed in the man's main view. Listening intently as he is adressed the man, known as yurei, sits quietly in contemplation while he listens to the image in front of him. a job, perfect timing reno as always. thank you for your consideration on this one I will not forget your hospitality. Yurei bows his head forward in a sign of respect, I will make sure I represent our interests in this matter honorabley. closing the AR window and disconnecting the call he looks at the clock RFID that is currently displaying 2:30PM. Looks like I have time to clean up. Yurei moves into the bedroom and starts to gather his cloaths for after he gets out of the shower. A few hours later and Yurei is back outside assembling his bike and placing his pack back into the compartment that is barely noticeable once it is closed. He pulls up a map to the meet location and leaves to meet his new team. looks like today is going to turn out just fine.

I will aim to be there at least 10 minute before the meeting.

<<Excellent.  Thanks again, chummer.>>
Now, what's this place like, and what's the neighborhood like? he wondered, as he queried his 'link.
Not great.  I think I'll eat dinner before I leave.

I need to lose weight. he thought, as he popped open his locker and pulled out his clothes.  The form fitting body armor is getting a little tight. he thought, as he took a deep breath and settled his body armor into place.  Over that went his Chinese suit.

The noise really picked up as he walked out of his bunkroom and down the halls.  Conversation, and lots of people moving about.
As he took a seat in the dining hall, he posted a message on the bulletin board <<Anyone going by Main and 136th?  I've got a job interview.>>.  There was a smattering of polite applause.

[18:45 22 July 2072 - Miso's]
"Thanks!" he said, as he hopped out.
Correct SIN, correct comlink public, Tacsoft booted up... he thought, going through his checklist as he looked up and down the street before he walked in.

I walks a Chinese girl. 5'10" with enchanting green eyes and black hair and no tattoos visible. Her hair is down around her shoulders and perfectly styled. When she enters the room things tend to stop for just the briefest of moments as if an ivory tower of beauty has entered the room, both compelling and unattainable at the same time. She is dressed in off the rack street cloths and a lined coat but they look like they were made for her. Almost like she has a type-O quality were clothes are concerned.

If anyone checks her com is on passive mode.

@the door> I am with the Johnson Party.

Yurei pulls up to the restaurant and quickly finds a parking spot. Pulling up a window to the bikes node he adjusts the anti theft system to deliver a warning and alert his PAN but not deliver a shock to the perpetrator. He takes off his helmet and jumpsuit revealing his business suit underneath. He quickly stores his jumpsuit within the wheel well compartment he pulls out his taser briefly and descreatly within his jacket and then returns it to his concealed holster within. As the compartment is open he pulls a secondary window to his drone and activates it's chameleon coating as it deployed to a vantage point where it will be out of the way but he can still see the bike and the traffic into and out of the restaurant. Walking up to the door with helmet in hand he will tuck it under his arm with the opening against his side further concealing his taser as he opens the door. Standing just in side the entryway he will wait for the hostess, his English is broken but understandable,Johnson party please.

[18:13 JULY 22-Miso's]

(for pcs who arrived first):

Through the plexi doors of what -in his mind- is now confirmed as an undeniably repulsive stall of a sushi stand, walks a tall, elderly ork.  His clothes are unremarkable beyond the sheer volume of dirt and grit caked onto his black denim pants and blacker pseudo-leather jacket.  His face is that of a retired war veteran-old and creased but unmistakably battle hardened beneath his thinning, slicked back bluish hair.  despite his apparent age, the ork walks with the gait of a young ganger.  As the door jangles shut behind him, he makes a motion as if to crack his knuckles;  must be an old habit 'cause chrome knuckles don't crack.  He trods to the furthest seat in the back, and shoves what appears to be a wooden match stick into his teeth.

(for those arriving after Nexus)

an old ork sits at a chair in the corner, watching with poorly hidden amusement as several  apparent runners filter through the joint's door amidst the norms stopping by to abuse their tastebuds with the frankenfood that assaults his nostrils with it's stench.   Between his tusks rests a matchstick:apparently he's never heard of toothpicks.  But then maybe that's not so surprising considering his obvious age.  A glass of water rests on his table, barely touched, and he clicks his metal fingers against the table in the manner of someone who is waiting for an unpleasant eventuality.  fading, dirty clothes adorn his tall form, and the fact that his 'link says he's a bounty hunter suggests he may be a runner...but so damned old for an ork!

As each of the runners walk in and look around, the restaurant has two customers, save the other runners, who are quietly talking to each other at a table around the center of the room. There's a middle aged Asian man, who anyone that has been in Asia for any amount of time would recognize as Chinese. is preparing food behind the sushi bar. He acknowledges the runners and acts like business as normal as they come in. When they ask for the Johnson party he directs them to an empty booth (save the runners that have already arrived) towards the back of the restaurant.

@Meat Puppet: You can tell that the man behind the sushi bar is nervous and gets more nervous every time another person who is obviously a runner walks in.

I wonder why the man is so nervous about the runners coming in. He seems a little too nervous like he knows something is going to happen when everyone gets here.

Nexus says nothing but feels it may have been a good idea to shower before the meet.  oh well.  next time.

@Druid:  ya know, i quit almost a year ago now, but i always keep some on me during business.  shit goes sour, it just might take the ol' edge off.

@MeatPuppet: Nice chica, I just hope your talents extend a bit farther than looking pretty.  But, I like your style.

Druid blows a thin stream of smoke and looks Yurei over.

@Yurei:  You sound like a handy fellow.  Care for a smoke?  I don't have any, but el abuelo here has some.  Not half bad either.  You can call me Druid.

Nexus turns toward the man who calls himself 'Druid', a frown on his stone-hewn face"Just cuz I give ya one smoke don't mean ya can go around offering my shit up like its yers.  Buy yer own damn pack if you wanna be mister charity."...he then turns to Yurei.  and you: good call not accepting his 'offer'.  wouldn't want you and I ta get off on the wrong foot.  Name's Nexus, by the way.  He extends his cold, steel hand out to the soft-spoken japanese man.

As he hears the dwarf's specialization, a previously unnoticable furrow in his brow is smoothed out.  phew.  so they gave us a spellslinger after all.  .  Just as quickly as it left however, his look of concern returns... he looks at the group.wait a minute. you telling me we don't got one lousy decker amongst us?...wonder what the job entails. The ork jerks his massive neck around, resulting in the crunch of what sounds like over a dozen vertebrae.

Yurei looks at the gesture presented to him by Nexus briefly and then remembers the American custom and quickly shakes the man's hand. It is good to have a point man for all things on a mission and the negotiations are just one facet. It is sad that we do not have an expert in communications however. I am skill wired to increased my usefulness in areas that need other abilities. I will win no contests but one of my chipsets is exactly for the communications that we will need. Who is going to call the shots for the mission itself? To many cooks spoil the stew.

"Yes, your words are wise. My only concern is if the job is needed to be done directly after the meet, but if that was the case it would not be good as I do not carry my gear to anything but the job. So we will discuss it after.

Turning to Meet Puppet. I feel confident in your skill. For your negotiations I feel very skilled at what I do, locksmithing. If we need any skill that our team possesses I can do it with average performance, but we will need the skill chip for me to take on that role. I usually prefer to have 10% for expenses as being reimbursed later does not usually work out. I will accept any type of work but I will not work for organleggers, nor will I do anything that will harm the innocent, such as kill a child. Other than these you can speak on my behalf and I will honor your agreements.

Yurei Looks back to the rest of the team. "If you wish me to fulfill a role of communications security, I will need some information from the rest of you. I prefer to set up a secured hub for communications so that we are not as vulnerably to theft. I am displaying my access ID so please set your coms to slave to it for the meet, It will keep you from being contacted directly for the course of the meet as I do not have an agent to direct traffic from here. If you wish to make a call you will need to unslave so that it will go through, but I am sure that making a call during a meet is not necessary. I will set it up so that any outgoing message you type will be sent to the team only and will encrypt our transmissions. Also for the purpose of the meet I will need us to set our coms to hidden except for mine. Any file that we should be given will need to be checked first so we will need the proper software to do so. Can we take this out of the expense budget for the run?

Nexus frowns at Yurei's instructions towards towards the japanese girl.   he turns to face Meat Puppet Look, i know you're the smoothest talker we got.  But that don't mean you can speak for me.  This outfit picked us out individually, and we can represent ourselves individually.  If we work well together, and all or most of us survive the run, you can feel free to be the face of the team.  but for now i'm just a runner who's been shoved into a group.  we all are. And I don't know about the rest of ya but unless i trust a person with my life, they ain't gonna represent me in my line of work.

He then turns to face Yurei As for leadership, I dare say I've earned that position through surviving the shadows as long as I have.  So if everyone else is alright with it, I'll be making the tough calls.  When it comes to communication, it sounds like you know your shit.  If I'm gonna lead us, I'm appointing you communications expert for the meet.  If you do good, you'll be our man on the job too.      he faces the group as a whole Anybody got a problem with that so far?

Yurei looks to nexus, The ability to survive in the shadows is a valued one and keeping others alive is also highly praised, I am just not sure that a leader should view the group he is with as individuals and still be able to be respected as a leader as well. If you wish to be the leader of our group I will back this but we should use our strengths to our advantage and allow meat puppet to talk for us as a whole or we are not a team. If we do not act like a team then we can not work as a team and our indoors are doomed to failure.

The security guard is an aging ork who appears to be holding a, is that a paper magazine? Don't see those often. He looks rather bored.

On the otherside of the guard hut is a small marina, consisting of three to four piers and around a dozen boats of various sizes, although it's hard to pick out details in the low light. The only lighting is two large street lights, one over the guard hut and another over the parking lot past the guard hut.

Edit: provided more detail about the marina.

@MeatPuppet: Meat Puppet gets the smell of two distinct body odors, one that reeks of Old Spice and is definitely stronger than the other, obviously the ork guard. The other smell she concentrates on and can tell that it's a man who is probably either near or in the marina, unfortunately thanks to the strong odor of the river she is unable to pick out anymore details from the body odor, except that it isn't unpleasant. At least someone bathes. She thinks to herself.

@Any with low-light vision: Now that you have come closer to the marina you get a better view of the marina you can see that there are a few (5) dome security cameras mounted on poles at various points around the marina, specifically one at the end of each of the 4 piers and one on a pole on the other side of the 20 or so meter wide parking lot from the security booth. Seems pretty standard fare for a business such as this one.

The stench of the river is still pretty overpowering, however she's able to detect the odor of another man, in addition to the one she detected moments before. The odor of both men seem to be coming from the direction of the piers, but from what she can tell the men are at separate locations. Both smell like they've recently bathed and haven't exerted themselves much lately.

@Chains: Chains' watcher returns and kowtowed again remaining with its 'head' on the ground in the astral plane in front of Chains. "Rise and report," Chains mentally commanded. The Lower Deputy began listing off every living creature in the area, "There are roaches, beetles, ants, worms, spiders, mosquitoes, flies, praying mantids, grasshoppers, moths..." By this point Chains cuts off the watcher and clarifies, "Give me a report of the people, awakened animals, and astral activity." The watcher looks at him for a moment, as if processing his given orders and then simply responds, "2 people, no awakened animals, and no astral activity." "Where are the people located?" Chains probed. The watcher responded, "In those vessels", pointing at two boats, one the first boat on the left moored to the first pier on the left, and the other boat which is the second boat on the right moored to the second pier on the left."

Interrupting the heated discussion that has begun between Nexus and Meat Puppet at the halfway point of the parking lot you hear a vehicle pulling in. You turn to see a limousine pull into the parking lot and park approximately 10 meters away presenting the passenger side to the group. The rear doors open and you watch as an exceptionally large troll with protruding gold tusks on bottom and obviously dyed blond hair in a dark suit extracts himself from the limo on the passenger side and a human male, in his mid 20s with brown hair and a sharp jaw line who is also in a dark suit, gets out of the driver side back seat. The troll simply stands there with the door behind him open, as if waiting for something. The human places two items on the roof of the limo and presses a button on each. You hear the tell-tale sound of the white-noise generator. You also see all your smaller devices (& cyber if applicable) attached to your PAN drop from your network and static in some of your AR displays indicating that there's a jammer in use, although, not strong enough to block your commlink from connecting to the trix. After a couple moments a human female gets out of the limo and surveys the group in front of her. She's a 30 something tall and shapely woman who has clearly spent money on some biosculpting. she's wearing her brunette hair very short emphasizing the darkness of her eyes. As she looks over each of the team she says with a slight Spanish accent, "Good evening, as I'm sure you can guess I'm Mrs Johnson."

Meat puppet's sniff and her observations of Mrs. J's body language tell her that Mrs J is at ease and calm. Meat's first impression of her is that she is an individual that has a cool head and is confident.

Mrs Johnson says, "I apologize for my late arrival, but I prefer to observe potential assets before a meeting. I hope you understand."

Not wasting any time and getting straight to business, she continues, "My employer in need of some individuals who are not afraid to face NYPD, Inc. on their home turf. You would need to deliver a message to a specific inmate that is in NYPD, Inc.'s custody without his detainers knowing that your team spoke to the inmate in question. In order to make sure that our confined compadre is receptive to the message there is a simple task prior to the infiltration that needs to be completed. The timeframe to deliver the message is five days. My employer is willing to pay    ¥7500 to each of you." (ooc; I'm stopping here to let meat puppet roll her negotiations.)

Before Meat Puppet can say anything regarding the need for more pay Chains says, "I'm afraid I'm going to have to pass due to personal reasons." at which point he begins to walk towards the entrance of the parking lot, never to be seen again. (killing him during the meet would be problematic, so he got a fade to black exit. Please, don't make a big deal out of someone walking out of the meet so we can continue.).

What kind of message do you need delivered? Going up against NYPD on there home turf can lead to a lot of complications for upstanding citizens like ourselves. 7,500 each each sounds a little light for delivering a message this pillar of the community with out anyone noticing. Perhaps a little more up front cash might be in order. NYPD employees are not cheap and much like over ripe fruit they tend to turn bad quickly.  Meat Puppet will smile seductively and will give off body language that oozes sexuality. (trying to put Mrs J off her A game.)

Yurei watches Chains leave and thinks about it himself, most runners avoid going to jail and this lady wants us to break into one. Though it sounds insane it is a little late to back out, we already know most the details but not the specifics, could be that she is just going to take him out later. It's better to stick it out till we know more.

The Johnson is a little thrown off by Meat Puppet's clearly seductive actions, and after about 15 minutes of back and forth negotiation between Mrs J and Meat, Meat convinces Mrs J that a substantial pay increase is in order plus some of it upfront. In the end Mrs Johnson agrees to pay ¥12000 each with ¥1000 upfront for each of them.

"Regarding what type of message, I'll give you the details once you've agreed to complete the job for my employer, however I will tell you that it is simply a spoken message. Also, an addition to your group should be along shortly. Seems there was a last minute substitution for your groups hacker who couldn't make it. So I'll wait until they arrive to continue. While we wait, if you'll excuse me, I have some business to attend to." Mrs Johnson gives a nod towards the sharp jawed human on the opposite side of the limo and sits down. The man reaches up and presses a button on one of the devices on the roof. As each of the team's PANs come back online the teammates begin to talk about the mission while waiting for the newest addition.

(ooc: A reminder to everyone that before just now everyone's earbuds/image links were down because of the jammer, so short of pulling out your commlink, who's signal is high enough to get past the jamming, and punching in a text message, old school style, there's no electronic communication. Obviously this doesn't apply anymore since the jammer just got turned off, but keep it in mind for when it gets turned back on and perhaps an edit for the last two posts would be great too)

He exchanges some quick words with the security guard at the entrance and reachs you slightly out of breath. It seems he was running a bit, but quickly comes back to breathing.
Hello everybody, ... I'm Space, Hacker ... train had a little delay ... sorry ... nice to meet you ... one moment please, breathing.
After a few moments of breathing he is fit again.

<Agent3 Otto.setactive(true);
<Agent3 Otto.loadProgramm('Browse3');
<@Otto: Hallo, start looking for the NYPD Inc. procedures with prisoners and save the info plus a summary into the file: NYPC_[month]/PrisonProcedures_[date]

Title: Re: [IC] SRM03-05
Post by: Larzarus on <06-20-11/0220:05>
Space looks up from his commlink where he finished the instructions for his agent. What ... uh ... one moment.

So. Yeah, I don't know if this idea with the second crime really works or not, I just heard some former friends of mine talking about it. The idea: You build up your own crime with the prisoner as witness or culprit. Then you go to the prisoner as the lawyer of the victim, pretending to  ... whatever ... this lawyer stuff. It should be easier for Meat Puppet to impersonat a fictitious person.

But, as I said, I like the idea to impersonating the prisoners own legal council much more because their are not so many unknown variables.

Anyway, as long as we don't know who and where the guys is, every planning is aimless.

Mrs Johnson smiles at the fact that the team has agreed to the job. "The inmate is Karl Gahley, the man who is responsible for the recent destruction of the Brooklyn Bridge." she says with a nod towards the silhouetted ruins of the century and a half old landmark. She then continues, "He is currently being held at an NYPD, Inc. holding facility located at 600 East 125th Street on Randall's Island in cell #11. He'll be there until Monday at which time he'll be taken to court offices in Brooklyn to give his preliminary testimony at 11am. The court is in Brooklyn as the bridges leading onto Manhattan Island are owned by the UCAS. The message that needs to be delivered is to convince him to present his case according to this," at which point Mrs Johnson hands Meat Puppet a sheet of paper.

>>An Aztechnology representative has hired you to destroy the Brooklyn Bridge. In exchange for your cooperation, KG
Construction was to be awarded key contracts involved in the resultant new construction project. Further, as a show
of appreciation for your cooperation, Aztechnolgoy would make no further attempts to buy out KG Construction.
The explosives used in the demolition were obtained from Aztechnology. They instructed you to hide the
material among your company’s supplies. You reported them stolen to NYPD, Inc. in accordance with instructions
from Aztechnology.
Some affiliates have already established supporting evidence for this claim at Gahley Construction and
several Aztechnology facilities. Once you publicly agree to accept protective custody in exchange for testimony
against Aztechnology, you will be given further details about this supporting evidence.
Once you have this information memorized, flush it down the toilet to prevent later discovery.<<

As the paper is looked over Mrs Johnson resumes speaking, saying, "In an effort to make sure that Mr Gahley is inclinded to follow our plan my employer needs you to intercept Gahley's sister prior to a meeting she has with corporate representatives from Aztechnology regarding the sale of her business in Queens. Once you've intercepted Anna Gahley, you're to take her to LaGuardia Airport, where she will be met by representatives of my employeer and taken to safety. Be sure to take some video of her encouraging Mr Gahley to cooperate to show him as you deliver the message. Once you have delivered the message you are to get in contact with me and we'll arrange for the delivery of the remaining payment to you."

At this point Mrs Johnson pauses and then asks, "That's the sum of it, any questions?"

Post by: Larzarus on <06-24-11/1044:17>
@team>MP, can you also ask for infos when and where this meeting between Anna Gahley and Aztech is?

I already send my search agent to find some input about the NYPD Inc. and how they deal with prisoners, but like Nexus said, a map of the facility would be fine. And I also agree with him about the safe house, at least we need a place to keep Ms. Gahley hidden, in case we can't bring her to the airport for any reason.

Mrs Johnson says with a chuckle, "You have a point, enough is never enough." getting more serious she continues, "No, an abduction won't be needed, barring a frag up on your team's part, which you will be held accountable for." After pausing for a moment to let her statement sink in, she continues, "Regarding how to locate Anna Gahley, she owns the two restaurant chain called Some Assembly Required, both located in Queens. According to my employer's source, her meeting with Aztechnology is tomorrow evening around 1800 at her restaurant at the intersection of 30th Ave and Newtown Ave, so you would likely be able to locate her there tomorrow. It seems that her business has fallen on hard times after her brother's arrest and she is being pressured into selling her business to Aztechnology.at a major loss. If you can prevent this from happening and get Anna to go into our custody to protect her from possible Aztechnology retaliation, it will go a long way towards convincing Mr Gahley to finger Aztechnology for the bridge's destruction."

Yurie's message opened in one of Space's AR window. He wait's until Ms.J stops talking and he can concentrate on ananswer:
@team> To build a established restaurant with trained personal, a good location and a decent amout of regular guests specially in a big city like NY is much harder than you think. Maybe Aztec simply saw a good orportunity.

Space focus back at Ms.J to see if she's added some other information or end the meeting. He know what Yurei was talking about, there may be a big a battle between Aztec and another party or even two or three other parties and their group was may be walking right into a messy battlefield. To many unknow in this equation, to many assumptions. Better stay with the numbers you know.

Space hopes that the meeting will be over soon, he wasn't able to sleep in the train and he is getting a little tired by now. He also assumes that they also have a little group internal planning after this meeting.

Mrs Johnson responds to the questions by saying to Nexus, "Considering she's to be taken to LaGuardia Airport immediately after you've made contact with her, a safe house isn't necessary, so no, I won't be providing a safe house. Regarding information on the holding facility where Mr Gahley is being held, I will leave the acquisition of that information to you."  She pauses for a moment to see if there are any further questions. Since there are none she continues, "Also, I have one other request, a favor I would like you to preform." Before anyone can protest or refuse she says, "I will provide a bonus for the completion of this favor, if you are unable to complete this favor, it will not reduce the agreed upon payment or even be of any consequence to me. However since you'll be in the holding facility anyway, I figured you wouldn't mind getting a bonus for a small task. The favor I ask is to deposit a file I will provide you into the NYPD Inc system at the holding facility. Where exactly in their system doesn't matter, so long as it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb." She pauses for a moment waiting for any responses or further questions from the runner team.

I can try to put it into some temp folder or in the trash bin, should be easier than to get around the archiv IC. @Mr J> How much of a bonus are we talking about?

A bonus? Hopefully it's enough to lay low while the heat blows over.

>@team: But don't be too sure that we get this bonus, heck, that's NYPD we are talking about, they have a whole department full of people investigating matrix crimes! But I will try my best, HOI °o°/)

Yurei, if we do this, your help will be appriciated.

Yurei looks about waiting for the meeting to be finished.

Yurei looks down at his com and realizes that a message has came in. Looking at it he begins to quickly set it to vibrate upon receiving a message and type. though I have hacking skills they are not very good and my equipment as you can tell from the obvious way I am replying to this message, is ok but not great. The best option would be to impersonate someone and the lawyers will get us the best access to the prisoner.

Space receives the message but still put most of his focus on Ms.J's answer. Depending on this he will decide how much effort he puts into her 'little favour'. He won't let his head get fried just for some pinuts.

> @Yurei: Understode, but we still have the option that I make a little bit ramba-samba in there server and meanwhile you can sneak into the archiv and put the file there. A plan B, when you know what I mean.

Also, I send an agent to search for some NYPD procedures to check something. I may have an idea how to get into the system and also support our impersonater.
