Title: Dawkins Group
Post by: Nexushound on <05-26-11/2219:52>
Oi Chums,

Just scanning through my collection of data files and I have come across the name Dawkins Group in a few Shadowposts. I know I have read more about this but can't find any more information other than a few blurbs here and there and no official info in Corp Download on Horizon. Any one point me in the right direction?

Oi Chums,

Found it. Fianchetto gives us some data in "Corporate Enclaves".Mr. Bonds lays it out. Dawkins Group does not officially exist.
Any one had any run ins with them?

There's information on them in Corporate Enclaves and Corporate Guide. I included a brief blurb about how they operate in one specific instance in Spy Games. I think they also appear in the new module, A Fistful of Credsticks since it's about Horizon. However, I'd have to check. Generally speaking there isn't much about them, but I think it's safe to say that a book called Conspiracy Theories may mention them.

They are social adept commandos (So... Spies. Really good spies.). That should give anyone pause just on principle.

"No Such Agency" didn't official exist at one time, didn't it?

Official Existing and Actually Existing are two different things.

The '10 JackPointers' PDF also has quite a lot about them in a peripheral fashion, since it's a document written BY them. It includes several footnotes, sidebars, and posts from within the organization giving a decent look at how they operate.

Yet they don't have the cup sizes of the female members of the JackPoint.

Notice that she didn't provide proof, however.  ;)

I can't say for certain whether or not they are referred to or are used in A Fistful of Credsticks, but the Dawkins Group will be featured prominently in Horizon Adventure #3.  Also, there is a Dawkins Group operative mentioned in "War" as "Agent," and there's a shadowtalk comment made about that person's methods.
