Title: RIGGER/ HACKER
Post by: Hazz50 on <06-03-11/1230:33>
Hiya

I wanted to see if anyone has ever attempted to create a starting character a combination of rigger/ hacker. Usually its a little difficult to get a player that would play just one of the roles but seems to be very tough. So I was thinking to do hybrid mix to really give more focus to the player and still allow to keep the additional level(s) of game play to story.

Any thoughts?

both Area of Activities are ...Big Ones
You need a lot of Resources and Skills for both Hacker and Rigger.

Well you could do it, the only problem is that you wouldn't be able to do either as well as a focused player. You would run out of points very quickly, but if you focused on just hacking and rigging, and left combat and social out of the situation, you would be decent at both.

With that being said, I think it could work. It will take a lot of tweaking and growing, but it can definitely be done well.

Ah, I have never really heard of translating names like that though.

I mean, if there was a German book with a hero named Gunter, I wouldn't expect the English edition of said book to name him Bob or whatever :)
