Title: Warform PC
Post by: monkeyfeet228 on <06-21-11/0814:31>
Is this possible? I'm not seeing anything that says otherwise but that could be 'cause it's 5AM.

Warforms are critters, not metahumans or other sapients. So no, it couldn't be used as the base for a PC.

However, if you used a warform as the basis for a biodrone, the result could be used as either a prepared vessel for a possession-based free spirit PC or as the host for an AI PC.

I like the Idea of a high Con skill and pretending to be some sort of new Sapient Critter :P

Conveniently I have an AI character...hmmm I smell shenanigans on the horizon

So can there not be warform sapient citters? Or maybe a shapeshifter? Or is it more a matter of handling stats

Since warforms are lab-created alterations of mundane critters, and any sapient is automatically a paranormal critter. Same with shapeshifters, as I see it. They are rare natural awakened offshoots of mundane critters. So for RAW, it's a no-go on either.

However, I'm all for the aforementioned shenanigans. My most recent PC was possession tradition that kept a very nice warform tiger biodrone in a modified valkerie module and used it as the vessel for a guardian spirit. Fun times, indeed.
