Title: Idea for a character quirk.
Post by: Seeker on <07-09-11/1318:15>
Two light pistols, both modified with a weapon personality.

One is Seraphine, a buxom human lass with a British accent and a very cold demeanor.
The other is Desdemona, a slender Hispanic Elven chica spitfire.

A near classic take on an angel and a devil, without all the morality qualms.

The runner is a face, and a bit of a chauvinist.  Not full blown, but...  You get the point.

These two 'divas' vie for his attention constantly, until combat starts where they both settle into a very professional demeanor until it is over.  Afterwards, they'll boast and brag about who was the most effective.

The runner fuels the fire, so to speak, by only taking one pistol when subtlety is required.  He chooses based on the best 'performer'.  When he returns home, he transfers these personalities into a couple of VirtualPersons who continue to stoke his ego until the next time.

I like it!

Also consider a Revolver with an Increased Cylinder and an Ammo Skip System. Depending on which personality wins, he could either shoot a Gel round or an Ex-Ex round.

But I really like this concept. Would his matrix icon also have them on his shoulders?

I didn't even think about the matrix icon, but that would be really cool.  Little chibi versions of them floating around on his shoulders.

I was also wondering if I should carry this a bit further, and actually give him a personality disorder.  Some sort of matrix reality issues, but that seems a bit much.  Always an idea, though.

Haha this leads to all sorts of hilarity! Another way to take it and make it crazier, is to have the "Personalities" be all in his head, but of course he is convinced that his guns talk to him. Why cant anyone else hear them? This has promise to be a really entertaining char. Good Job! It would be fun to play with him.
