Title: Where did I get this idea, and why am I going to use it?
Post by: Seeker on <08-17-11/1403:58>: So, after dreaming up a new gang for my PC's to encounter in Seattle's sprawl; I decided to put together a gang with a Mongol motif.

You know, golden tattoos. Fur lined jackets. Mongol words here and there.

So I came up with a name, "The Golden Gols."

And, I realized how bad that name sounded. Until I decided...

What if they are named that? They took criticism for so long about it, that they've incorporated this super old tridshow into their everyday lives.

New recruits? They call them Bettie Whites. Also used when referring to someone as a rookie, "That was a Bettie move."

Prostitutes? Blanches.

The bar they hang out at? Changed the name to "The Empty Nest"; a failed spin-off of the show. Sadly, they ignored the more obvious spinoff show called "The Golden Palace", but they can't be perfect.

Only because I have only text to work with.

With some video and audio, you'd realize just how badly things had gotten and how much like the devil I can appear like.

There's a damned good reason I use a fan-made pic of Alice Cooper as an avatar when the group wants to do the Karma/Cash exchange.
