I Just strated playing the game from when i used to play back in 3rd and i never made a matrix character but after reading 4th the ammount of intresting things you can do with the matrix makes me want to.
I Would Like to have feedback, either flushing out the background or anything severe i missed, this character will be played for a while so i intentionally skipped things that will be picked up eventually in play at the bottom i provided a list of "Progressions" basically the direction i plan on taking the character once he gets some money ingame.

so Basically my backstory for this character is VERY basic at the moment as he is just a concept character incase my current one dies or we get to the point where we need a hacker.
So my Character was born to a relativly well to do family where he attended all the best schools etc, during University (Thinking Harvard level but dont know names) he got caught up in pranks and got exspelled from the university, after these stunts no Uni was willing to take him, MISSING MOTIVATION HERE, joined the UCAS military (could be any) where he stayed for most of his early 20's, joining a black ops unit running as their Tacnet runner, and providing the nessicary electronic support to get into those hard to get areas. (he ran on the ops with them he didnt sit in a van).
after his time was up he decided to go back to civilian life and got a part time job as a Spider running for a corporation (not one of the AAA's just a minor compound, protecting ... not quite sure, not quite sure he knows either).
His Hacking pool is crazy in VR, exspecially after a few runs where he can upgrade his comlink to R6. 7+6+2+2 = 17 (Hacking+Program+Hot Sim+Specialization HOTF)

I would remove 1 from strength and move it to willpower.
Maybe focus more on mental attributes + reaction (for initiative). 2 in a lot of attributes are not that great.
I would move one from stealth to perception - it's more karma efficient.
I'm not sure I would get all that cyberware you have chosen.
EEspecially the eyes and ears. They cost a lot and use essence and you can have the same from glasses, lenses and ear buds.

This character seems similar to the Combat Hacker archetype (see my sig) in a number of ways; take a look and see if there's anything you can steal.

The Purpose of 4 Strength and Agility is the long run, Superthyroid Gland and Muscle toner/aug make me Str 9 Agility 9 Body 6 and R 3, as for matrix attributes the only important one is willpower for soak tests programs and skills are used for tests so hence the reasoning. other than that the hacking skill is high to avoid cybercombat and the eyes and ears are for eventually when he starts running a Tactnet. and recording... etc s really helpful ingame so i can not forget characters names etc.
