It's a gray October morning in Atlanta. The heat's finally beginning to break; it'll probably only reach 27 today. Cloudy and muggy as it is, it still probably won't rain. There's nothing special in the news, just the normal politics and crime sprees and promises that if you buy the latest chum you'll be a sexual magnet and the envy of your fellow wageslaves. Bah.
Time to start your day, chummer.

I wake up with a start at 11:00 AM, with a pounding headache from last night's bar shenanigans and a fight with my daughter, who sneaked out to a dance I ordered her not to go to. I slowly sit up, clutching at my head. Eventually I get up the gumption to go to the kitchen and set about curing my affliction with concoctions of raw eggs and more booze. I check and make sure Marie left for school. Seeing she isn't in the house, I call the school and verify she arrived. She didn't. I sigh and go hunt her down, prepping for another serious discussion of her behavior. I ignore the junk heap in my front yard where i am working on some car scraps, trying to make this thing run with a combo of magic and grease. When i find her, if she is with that biker boy, again, I levitate her away from him and literally drag her home against her will. Arguments ensue, I would imagine.
(My character goes about his daily business until he gets a call for a job. If it has been awhile since he had work, then he will go seek work around 3:00. He is used to overwatch and courier work.)

Barbosa wakes up groggy as usual, grunting under his breath "I'm getting too old for this shit..." as he makes his way to his half-dead bathroom. He takes only a few seconds to brush his hair, not even caring to clean his teeth or wash up. He then calls over his only drone, a manservant to dress him. He tells the manservant to resume cleaning before leaving to go out on the town.

Lucky is halfway through his lunch when his comm chirps. At first he figures its just a reminder about a gig he's booked to bounce or some such, but the continued chirp finally gets him to grab the link and flip it open.
After a brief discussion with his old friend, Lucky sends a quick Commtext and throws on his suit. He hails a cab and makes his way into the city, looks like today is going to get interesting after all.

Yesterdays Tekken2072 party is still echoing through local matrix, as players still lay down on mattresses around the walls, empty bottles, as well as some empty syringes, laying on the floor in the centre of the room. Slight smell of urine reminds me, that not everyone in the game should be the winner, and HotSimmed virtual combat may be almost as dangerous as the real one.
I fought only few duels, my reference is more on tactical combat and intel. This also allows me to have clear viev on the real life perspective, during in the game...you may call me paranoid, but try to run away from cops, when you are drolling on your t-shirt and your BTL legs arent taking you anywhere.
However.
Being the first who wakes has its own rewards. At least nobody picks your pockets on the leave. Ive looked arounnd the flat, that more than anything resembles some squat on the edge of altona, some place that hadnt been hit too hard by Black tide. Fridge accepted my command and unlocked the door, as I was checking access log. This is my treasure chest. I dont care if anything else falls apart, but without well supplied fridge, the wireless coverage and, of course, the escape tunnel, I cannot call a place home.
Noodles in self-boiling package would made my day, i thought as I was placing the box on the tabble. Mysterious burbling and gurgling reminds me some whichcraft stories, one of such we were playing yesterday in coop with these Yankees vs. my old mates back in Hambourgh...wild bunch of motherfuckers on both sides. They won..we need some teambuilding IMO.
As I draw back heavy non-translucent curtains, daylight sudenly explodes in the room, made me blink for a few times to get my vission back.
You sound like waking tiergarten!! C`moon fellas, time for the afterparty :D
I smiled at that pack of chipheads, noticing that every single one is moving at least a bit, that means no bodies disposal routine today. I slurped first batch of noodles, when incoming message flashed at my image link.
OK guys, gotta buy some beers. make yourself comfortable...and remember, no hacking from this location, or Ill personaly hunt you down, and stay away from the fridge or Ill personaly hunt you down and sell you to Tamanous.
I put my suit on, check Anansie in the arm slide and set out for the meeting with Lucky.

As the next day rises, Barbosa goes through his usual routine, "Eu estou começ a velho para esta merda...".
He spends this day at home, having spent most of his daily cred on booze and ramen last night... 'God I love ramen...' he thought as he made his morning coffee to assist with the headache from the said booze. Barbosa passed his time in his two room apartment by watching the daily trids, with the usual shit advertisements about Leonization and registering for social security since they considered his age, he wished he could get some of that free money from the government just for being old. After about an hour he finally got bored, and decided to go to his room and meditate. He got on the flat and rigid floor next to his bed, and it took him a few minutes to focus out the distracting smell of the room before he finally slipped away. It seemed like days had passed as he fell into an endless thoughtless trance, only to awake a mere 6 hours later in a dark room illuminated only by the nightlights and the stars coming through his window.
'Only 2 more days...' he thought...
-
Waking up is always the hardest part of the day, at least as far Valkyrie was considered.
... Just a few more minutes ... crossed her mind and she shut her eyes for 3 more hours
The second time she was woken by a knock on her door, so she had to leave the bed. A pity, just at the best moment of the dream.
In the end it was just a delivery man, and he did not even bring her the leather boots she had sent for, could a day start worse?
she went on with her daily routine and summoned a Raven(watcher) to check on her surroundings and a Viking (Guardian spirit) to sand guard at her place and help her with the daily actions. For her the spirits where just more then slaves, they where her friends, so by daily actions she meant spending the day together, having fun.
But after receiving a Com from a friend, who has helped her out more then once, she left for the Bar he had set as a meeting point.
Text@Lucky >Will be there. V. <
then she gets into her Mercury comet and goes to the bar sending her watcher in front scouting the area, and the Viking still just a call apart keeps her company.
She puts on her goggles and goes VR to meet up with lucky in the node he had pointed out, while the car speeds on autopilot to the programed destination.

Hello Lucky boy, how do you feel today...
I need to get out of this mess for a while, so Ill take a cab and be there in meat, if you dont mind. Maybe you can use some backup..well I deffinitively should use some REAL socity for a difference, I know that should sound like hypocrisy, well this matrix gamblers are dull stuff...and I have a need for some real action. Ill be there on time, take a seat on the bar and reamin silent.

GM Notes. I'm doing this from Valkyrie's point of view. I know she's full VR and Lucky is AR. From timing I also think she's first, though not by much. I think Bypass is AR also. The AR users will see the same node but through a 'screen' window. I am not going to describe any player's virtual icon as that's up to you. The local reality filter adjusts size so everyone is are roughly equal "size", otherwise lets preferences remain intact. Note that Valkyrie's icon, like Mr. Johnson's, will not be in a bubble.
You enter a shallow cave, fronted by a waterfall and with a stone pathway leading to the right. As you exit the cave along the waterfall you enter a virtual grotto, a circular wall of plants with rock walls behind, in the center of which is a large pool. In the center of the pool is a graceful gazebo to which the pathway leads, transitioning from stone to a translucent looking wood.
As you enter the gazebo a mermaid lifts herself on the opposite side and addresses you.
"Welcome, guest, to the Red Mist's Blue Node. If there is something I can get you please ask. The other guests have not yet arrived but should be here shortly." You indicate you want nothing at the present time, and the mermaid gracefully slides back into the water and disappears.
Almost immediately, you see an iridescent bubble appear from behind the curtain of the waterfall. You see within it, as though in a crystal ball, Lucky's persona. He greets you and the bubble floats to join you. Not too long after that a bubble with Bypass's persona repeats the process.
You haven't time to feel impatient when an anthropomorphic Panda enters. The panda is a popular local generic icon, one of a set purchased by tourists and locals who visit various attractions. "At least," you think to yourself, "it wasn't a Rhett or a Bulldog."
"Hello," the Panda says on reaching you. "I'm Mr. Johnson, and I need to hire your services."
Actions and responses before the conversation starts, please. You may interject actions that you did in the midst of the preceding if you wish.
-
Lucky floats into the node in a bubble that seems to be quickly filling up with smoke. With a quick nod at Valk his avatar extinguishes an old pipe and straightens its clothes. The smoke starts to clear and you find yourself looking at an orc dressed up in an old inspector uniform that seems to be pulled straight from Sherlock Holmes. Lucky gives another nod at Bypass when he enters the node and is just starting to pace as the Panda finally enters.
"Well first we can discuss which services you will need us to provide you and then will come the terms of payment." The edge in Lucky's voice gives away that he isn't very comfortable negotiating with people, its like he's trying to refrain from growling.

Valkyrie Was Proud to be Associated with the Norse Gods, as was her family. Style was important as they almost always were dealing with high class clients, so it is only natural that they would have outstanding wardrobe and some custom-made persona's, at their disposal.
Her persona was the same as her name - Valkyrie, and it looked just like her, a bit more Muscle, a bit taller, and the Face a bit younger, as it was in real life, but only because of the time when the Persona was made. Valkyries persona was Wearing a Viking Armour set, with a Round shield and axe at her belt, and a spear in her hand. There was no doubt that she was a fighter, there was even less doubt that she was confident. If the surrounding world would not tell otherwise, just looking at her you could fear you have been transported back in time and a mighty Women worrier is about to stand up to you, either to just talk or to ram the spear trough your lungs.
Valkyrie introduced herself (2) (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3206281/) "Good afternoon, MR. J. , Lucky here said you have some work for us, might we inquire what it is about and what ill the pay be, and even more important why did you choose a public node for it, as I am a bit uncomfortable to speak about some aspect of work in public space."
Text@Lucky and ByPass trough Lucky's forwarding
"Yo guys, I will do most of the negotiation, but I would appropriate a hand on digging out stuff about the job and the J.
V."
-
First, as Mr. Lucky can inform you, the owners of the Red Mist take pains to keep what they call their private nodes, private. This node is, I've been assured, as private as a back room in the club itself.
The job itself is a bodyguard task with a possible hot extraction. One of my organization's people is attending a conference. We have received word that there might be a terrorist attack on the conference. We will pay a base fee of 5,000¥ just to have you in position. If the attack occurs, we will pay you an additional 25,000¥ if our employee gets out alive and able to continue her work. Get her out alive but unable to do her duties within a week and we'll pay you an additional 5,000¥. Don't get her out, well, we'll pay you the base fee for your time.
There are political reasons why we cannot have our regular security contractor do this job. That is why we need to hire someone who, erm, who cannot be openly associated with us. You.
Last but not least, the conference starts approximately an hour from now.
If this much is acceptable I'll give you the details you need to do the job; names, places, that sort of thing.
-
Text@ByPass >how much time do you need, not sure we can hold his attention for long, his job is time essential.<
While typing the message to ByPass Valkyrie double checked the data she received from J. " So we either get 5k , 10k or 30k? any special requirments? "
still not turning her attention away fro Mr J. so she does not miss any change in his mood.
-
If you give me a minute or two, it would be nice. Im trying to do what I could...And minute or two is not too much for a conversation...
-
A new day arises and Barbosa is sore from the day before of sitting in one spot for several hours. He looks through several empty cabinets in his kitchen before finally remembering he left his painkillers in the bathroom. He pops 2 as the normal dose as he asks his servant to clothe him again. Once his jacket is on he gets an odd fragrance and sniffs the sleeve, he shakes his head a bit god that smells like shit. He heads out down to the coin-op laundry down the street from his apartment. He runs his credstick by the scanner on the washing machine and washes his clothes, he enjoys the quiet hum off all the laundry and the silence of the people waiting for their clothes to dry, but inevitably gets bored and annoyed from waiting.
One more day...
Sorry to throw all this in the middle of the chat, but I didn't want to seem like I wasn't active
-
Lucky becomes visibly more relaxed as the details of the run are laid out for him. "Time seems essential so I'll try to make this quick. I need to know the following details to make arrangements: Is the conference on UCAS territory; does anyone, including the target, know that we are providing security detail; do you have any details on the nature of the attack; what is the security level of the neighborhood for the conference?
If we're having to cross into corp territory, we'll need to gain access to the site. If this hasn't already been taken care of, it will cost extra. If the attack is viral, toxin, or radiation based, that's going to cost extra. If we have to go in low key, which horribly reduces the chances of successfully pulling your person out, that's going to cost extra to the base fee. And then of course we get to expenses: Medical, Travel, Ammunition..."
Lucky ticks his fingers to each point he brings up, and then glances at his pocket watch.
"A general increase in pay across the board will probably be easier than coming up with a case by case cost analysis in these limited times."
Edged Negotiation (2 Defaulted Charisma + 5 Edge = 7 dice) [5 hits] (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3209156/)
As Lucky is talking, he's also paying his tab for the club and plotting how long it will take to grab gear from his house as well as those of his two companions. He also sends a private message to Bypass and Valk: Know anyone who can provide magical support?
-
Barbosa pings himself in late for the meet, for the persona name CaptBarbosa, it's as stereotypical carribean pirate as you can possibly think of I think the only real info we need is what to wear for the meet, everything else he's sure to explain, ain't that right capt'? Barbosa gives a gesture as tipping a glass towards the Johnsons direction.
-
Bubba Ray ducks a thrown object and then sighs as his daughter storms out of the house again, furious. Glass shatters. He sighs again, and goes to clean it up. That's odd...among the beer cans and various other odds and ends is a chip he does not recognize as one of his own....Where the heck did she get this? Bubba Ray stares at it, then decides to take a look...
After he gets a beer and looks at said chip, Bubba Ray calls Bypass. "Hey, Bypass, are you busy? I may have some minor decryption work for you. Can we meet and talk about it?"
-

I need to know the following details to make arrangements: Is the conference on UCAS territory; does anyone, including the target, know that we are providing security detail; do you have any details on the nature of the attack; what is the security level of the neighborhood for the conference?"
Valkyries Head turns to Lucky's persona for a moment, then back to the J. , still that was enough time to type up a message to the rest of the team.
Text@ team > Yap, time is essential to him, but for us too, ByPass needs a minute or two, that's not much to ask for is it?<
turning Back to the J. Valkyrie goes on with the Conversation Voice@EveryOneAtTheMeet >My collage here is right, the sum seems inadequate. My father always Said, you can have quality, you can have it Fast and you can have it cheap, but you can get only two., so choose wisely. Seeing how you speak to us, not KE or LoneStar it seems you need quality, and the conference starts in 1 hour so it's fast, I guess there is no place for cheap then. Do I stand correct on my assumption? One more thing My Collage forgot to mention is the question about some money up front. For expenses that might occur in the case some guards get suspicions, or we need a special piece of equipment for this particular case. I would suggest the 5k you are paying us just for being there might be up front, as it is the part of our pay we will get anyway.<
-
Bypass doesn't say anything. In realspace, Lucky sees that Bypass seems distracted. More in OOC.
The panda looks back and forth between Valkyrie and Lucky, then addresses Valkyrie.
I've some slack, but I was assured Mr. Lucky would assemble a good team by the person who brought him to my attention.
Cards on the table. My organization is the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Unlike one of the majors, we don't have deep pockets. I can increase the payment if things go wrong by a little, perhaps another 5,000¥, but that's the limit for nuyen. Not expenses. We literally cannot do it. If you cannot take the job for what we're offering, say so and I'll see if I can find another employer.
The panda pauses, pulls out a bamboo stalk and strips the leaves a moment, then continues.
Actually, we might be able to do a little more. We have a medical contract for our grounds. If you have wounded and can get them to the ABG, I can swing initial medical treatment. It'd be about what DocWagon would provide for basic service, excluding the extraction. And yes, we can explain gunshot wounds and other, ermm, interesting injuries.
The site is Horizon property, but it is an open border facility so access is not an issue.
If you agree, I can agree to half the 5K up front in the form of a certified credstick. Because I can understand the issue of, ermm, trust, we will also put three more credsticks in the hands of a mutually agreeable third party who will verify their balances. At the end of the day you will collect at least one containing the other 2,500 and the rest if things turned, ermm, unpleasant. If nothing happened, my organization will collect the unearned sticks.
If I may suggest a third party, Mr. Lucky's friend who brought us together is satisfactory. We have an arrangement and will take care of his holding fee in this case.
Will you take the job? If so, I can get down to details.
COMMON KNOWLEDGE: Cobb Galleria is adjacent to the I-75/I-285 (north) junction. It's to the immediate southwest of that junction. It's a conference center/hotel, roughly 15 stories tall. Cobb Galleria is a Horizon owned facility.
-
"I'm in, it seems simple enough."
Easy money, should have been here instead of pulling bodyguard duty for 200¥, Lucky thought to himself. Still there was that unsettling wrenching in his gut, like things were already destined to go badly.
-
A long look from Valkyries persona in the direction of the Panda Icon. The moment is tense, you can feel how the eyes are dismembering The panda, looking for cracks, for holes in the Armour, where you could get in and take some more advantages from the J.
... Still no word from ByPass, hack, he is letting time go by when we are short on it. ****! OK I have to do something. ...
"We are taking the Job, we are interested, but before we finalize the deal we would know everything you can tell us about it."
then sent a private message to ByPass
Text@ByPass >>Hey buddy, what's with the Searches, need some help or can't find anything, hive us at least something, even if it's just that you have nothing.<<
-
Barbosa gives a 'gruff', "I accept it as well." trying his best to keep things simple and moving along.
-
While sitting and apparently lounging at the bar, Bypass is actually fairly busy.
Bypass determines that the Panda is using an encrypted signal and he's got a stealth program running. Mr. Johnson seems almost as paranoid as he is.
Analyzing Pandas Icon: Computer (5)+ Analyze (5) + FullVR (2) = 12 dices
10 dice. 10d6.hits(5) → [6,1,5,2,5,3,4,5,4,1] = (4) 10d6.hits(5)=4 (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3218446/)
Mr. Johnson gets 2 hits in the opposed test. 8d6.hits(5)=2 (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3218494/)
Bypass decided to start tracing Mr. Johnson to figure out where he is. Just as the rest of the group is deciding to take the job, the trace succeeds. With a quick map-link he's affixed -- he's on Peachtree-Dunwoody, about a km south of I-285 and headed north at about 70 kph.
Tracing Panda to originating node to get approx (+-50m) GPS: Hacking (4)+ Trace(5)+ FullVR(2) = 11 dices, Extended test, Thresshold needed
Threshold per rulebook is (10, complex action).
9 dice.
9d6.hits(5) → [1,5,1,1,1,5,6,5,5] = (5)
9d6.hits(5) → [2,2,5,4,3,3,2,2,6] = (2) == 7 hits so far
9d6.hits(5) → [1,5,1,3,1,2,6,3,5] = (3) ==> matches threshold of 10
9d6.hits(5)=5, 9d6.hits(5)=2, 9d6.hits(5)=3, 9d6.hits(5)=5, 9d6.hits(5)=2 (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3218466/)
Excellent.
The principle is Dr. Julie Bouckaert. She is scheduled to give a presentation on her most recent research during the last session before the closing keynotes. That is, at about 4:30 pm. The closing keynote is at the dinner that starts at 6 pm.
He "hands" a file to each of you. A quick glance shows it includes a picture and short precis. It appears to be from one of the "please invest, these are some of our assets showing why" packets ex-non-profits used to give out. He also hands you an outline of the conference schedule.
I'll expand and write both of these if requested - no need to role play request. Fast summary:
Dr. Bouckaert is a female troll, approximately 45, PhD in entomology with focus in anthropods of the eastern CAS. She's credited with discovering three species, one of which is paranormal.
The conference has a keynote opening at 9 am that is scheduled for one hour. After that there are three presentation rooms running, with each presentation lasting a bit less than an hour -- leaving about ten minutes between to get to the next. There's an hour and a half break for lunch at noon, and a half hour between the 4:30-5:30 presentations and the 2 hour "dinner" that starts at 6 pm.
Beyond that I do not have her schedule.
At this time she has not been told of your employment or of the possible threat. I decided to leave the decision of making that notification to you. I'm providing you a verification keycode so she can confirm you're legitimate if you need to talk to her yourself. Or if you want I can contact her and let her know both of the possible threat and of your existence.
The only maps I have for the conference center are the ones Horizon posts on the matrix.
We know that Lone Star has responsibility for the security of the conference. Since there have been some, ermm, demonstrations at other entomology schools and conferences I would guess the security is a bit higher than normal, but can't ask without telling them why.
I want to emphasize that I cannot tell you my source, but it's usually been reliable. The source tells me that some members of the Exterminators have decided the parent organization has been too parochial and, ermm, passive with its demonstrations in the UCAS and is looking to make a splash. My source believes they intend to do so at this conference, and that the splash will be violent. What form the violence will take is unknown.
Common Knowledge: Bugs in Chicago scared people. Some of the scared people have done protests. Some of the protests have been outside government and corporation offices demanding they "Do Something." The Exterminators are a - or possibly several using the name as an overall label - UCAS protest group that believes, loudly, that many if not most entomologists and bug collectors are fifth columnists for insect spirits. They say they want the government and corporations to institute severe restrictions and controls on those sorts of people. They say so at regular protests (bullhorns and signs supplemented by AR tricks) at a variety of schools and "public" places.
Oh. I will have the credsticks with release and escrow arrangements in the hands of Mr. Lucky's contact within 15 minutes.
Is there anything else?
-

"Just a few more questions, how do you intend to get us in the complex with our equipment if you prefer that we are not official bodyguards?"
Valkyrie thought a moment and then continued "And did your source had any information on their primary target, if there is any?"

ermm, I was going to leave how you get in to you, the professionals. I suppose you could always by a conference pass, but I don't know their equipment restrictions. Or, of course, the ground floor is pretty much open to the public so customers who want to use the hotel portions of the upper levels can get in.
There's a brief pause while the panda chews more on its bamboo stalk.
No, my source had no more specific than that. It is one of the reasons we can't take this to Lone Star.

"Then just one last question from me. How might we get a hold on you if we need to use some of your prommised services or have some additional questions you have not covered in your piece on Dr. Julie Bouckaert." Valkyrie still checking her Com for any knews from ByPass
... Whats the point in having a hacker who cant even answear a Com ...
-
Point is that he can make you feel like Sandra Bullock if you dont stop bitching. I got nothing usefull, he is calling from remote location, somewhere on the road...using encryption and a few hacker tricks to hide himself. Not very common for honest person, IMO, but if he is impostor, Im not able to say right now.
-
The panda hands you all another smaller file.
I'll keep this commcode till the job is done.
If there are no other questions, I need to have some credits delivered. And, ermm, I suspect you are about to be busy yourselves.
The Panda seems to fade slightly, and ambles back out through the waterfall.
COMMON KNOWLEDGE: The fade was Mr. Johnson leaving, the rest was reality filter display. This is how I see non-crash logouts happening in VR. The local Reality Filter maintains the image even though the user is gone and uses its internal mechanism to 'exit the node'. So you know in advance, the bubbles of the AR viewers will drift upward then pop -- picture how soap bubbles go and you'll get the idea.

Hell. This stinks from every end Ill try to take ik. I would run further datasearches on our johnson, probably probing him to get some further info. If bugs are involved, Id like to have my ass covered by those who deals with bugs...I know this girl who have a father...old man, but I wouldn`t underestimate him...he deals in mojo and probably knows local scene also, I should try to set up the meeting. Then we can talk more about our plans. Do you agree with that?

"Sounds Great ByPass if I am lucky he might show me a thing or two, so i am for asking him to join us on this small adventure." Valkyries icon turned to face the other two icon's.
"Should i pick him up somewhere on the way, the same about you, Do you need a lift?"
-
Or maybe you will be a surprise for him...you know, old, cynical, but open minded...at least I hope. I just need to check if he wont pull out some kind of mojoshotgun when he sees me. Im in the bar. Ill make a call, can you eventualy give me a ride?

Bubba Ray hangs up his comm, switches his profile to hidden, and grabs his running gear and his least beer-stained shirt-only a single spot on it! He stows the gear, and gets on his bike, driving to the club. I wonder what kind of job he has for me? Hope it pays well, the bills are coming due and I'm running low. Bubba PMs his babysitter and asks her to go watch his daughter.
Some time later, he pulls up to the Red Mist. He enters, and looks around for Bypass. If he doesn't see him right away, he will PM him and say I'm here, where are ya?

"Ok, need just to pick one trinket up on the way and then i am there. See you then." Valkyrie Loged off and took over driving the Car. She stopped at a shopping mall for couple minutes to get herself a disposable Comlink, a thing she had to do sooner. When she arrived at the Club, she saw a Man getting off a bike and going in, she followed his example and a minute later was already inside the Club.

Barbosa goes through some quick diagnostics on his leg before he asks his team, <<I'm going to stop by my house as well, just give me the place to meet.>>
Barbosa stops by his house for a short moment just to pick up his everyday gear,
Everyday gear: Armor Vest with a normal overcoat, AK-197, Ares Crusader& commlink.
-
Lucky checks over his everyday carry gear and makes sure he isn't missing anything, then pays his tab and walks outside to enjoy a quick smoke while he waits on Valk to show up.
Everyday Carry: PJSS Rifle, Commlink, SnS Ammo, Subsonic Ammo (should be hard to distinguish from normal ammo), Shockgloves, Contacts, Glasses, Earbuds, Respirator (in jacket), Cane, and suit with hat.
Satisfied that he has everything in order, he spends the rest of the time making sure that he has all his licenses in order for when they're needed. After all, the rifle may be under an overcoat, but any sec guard worth their pay will be able to notice something. As he's doing so, he's trying to remember or pull up any data on Horizon and their laws regarding bodyguards and appropriate licensing.
Law (Bodyguard)=0 hits (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3227478/)
Browse=0 hits (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3227482/)
0 hits on both checks.
Lucky then begins to talk over tactics over his Comm, unwilling to waste any of their precious planning time.
@Bypass/Valk: So how do you guys want to play this? We can buy tickets, try to sneak in, or let Mr. Hackey here try to get us on to the security roster. Do you guys want to tell her about the threat or just try and stay close to her?
I can't recall anything dealing with Horizon licensing laws, so I don't know if anything we have to carry will be worth shit on their turf. I would assume they'd allow UCAS bodyguard licenses to be in affect with all the high level corps they interview, but I'm just not sure.
Lucky then starts pouring over the file on the target. Is there a Commcode in the file for the Doctor?

"I for one think that we should speak at least LS and Hotel officials, as my real name would bring up a lot of questions." Valkyrie took a moment to collect her thoughts. " if I use my real sin with all my mercenary licenses we could stir up something, or if you think you can get in with all necessary equipment some other way. I have no problems, as I have my magic and it is not as problematic when you have to pass a checkpoint. I would like not to use my real name, if possible, but it might be just our ticket in."
-
"If my Bodyguard License works it may get me and Mr. Grouchy in the door, if nto I should be able to at least swing the shocks. I don't think I could get anyone else's gear in, but I may be able to get you through as an associate to protect on the magical front."
-
"I've got a license to practice magic, if you can get people in through the magic route I can follow it."

Realizing, that it wasn`t such a great beginning, Bypass takes his drink to more comfortable seating allowing him to fall to VR.
Initializes Encryption protocols for comunication channel within the team, runs analyze to be sure that his AccessID is not tracked or otherwise watched. Then he makes imself comfortable, leaving just a window to see what is going on in real world, leaving the meat speed far behind, he begins to search for useful and actual informations:
Initializing Datasearches
1) ABG: resources, fields of interests, public research results, possible links to shadowy resources, media profile
2) Current meeting: Security, purpose of the meeting, other guests and their topics (using Mr J`s list), interresting and VIP audience, Horizon involvement
3) Dr. Bouckaert: current research, publications, critics (on field of science and ethics), media profile
4) Exterminators activities, members and records, Last events and statements...
If we have more time, I would forge some acess documents, in the current state it would be more difficult. Possibility is even to hack guest list, or fake some employee`s ID. This way or another, I would need access to their nodes so Ill better begin immediately after this meeting. But what is evečn more important, I have done some datasearches regarding ABG and our Dr. Julie Bouckaert. And, of course, Exterminators and LS fluff to this operation. I hope by the time of your arrival to the club I would have some results ready. Some points...if we are supposed to find a way to protect her, we also find a way to harm her and the rest of the meeting also. So we aree better watsch ourselves very cautiously not to being followed. Einheimischen, any of you know that Horizon place?

Bodyguard license:
Bodyguard license is good for most areas of Atlanta to include the galleria PROVIDED you've got a registered client and client authorizes entry.
Magic license:
Maybe. It allows practice of magic. You'll have to explain why you think this will allow you entry.
Sichr:
I need to think about those a bit. I will want to know your priority for each of those, however, and how long you want to spend doing this. As part of that prioritization and time, how long per item would be good. Yes, you can wait till I decide the respective thresholds. VR instead of AR noted. Note also that I didn't expect you to go for some of this - it's going to take me a little time to put that part together.

Valkyrie took a look at the Old fashion clock on the wall, the time had gone by more quick then she thought.
"Oj, people we have to go or we will be late, we can get on planing in the Car via com, ByPass can make a secure channel right?"
Seeing as ByPass was still VR'ing V asked the two other to give ByPass a hand in moving to the car
>We are moving your body to the car, do not fear it, i think the guys will not harm it.<
and not to arouse too much attention V said to the waitress who looked a bit discomforting as many of the patrons started to move
"My friend here took one drink too much, he cant hold his liqueur, ;)"
