Title: Long Term Campaigns and Karma vs. Money
Post by: tzizimine on <10-09-11/1333:47>
For those that have run long running campaigns, what is the most karma and the most money that a character has collected?

Well, my account's namesake is worth ~1.8 mil and has earned ~290 Karma. Which is more than the rest of the party, through various means.

don't forget he was an underpowered build as well.  he started off at 300 bp.

I haven't been playing that long, but "Technically" in 10 years when one of my guy stops being a "companion" for a dragon he'll have somewhere between 100-150 karma on a 400 BP. But you know that's going to be while. :P At least the dragon's female.

Other than that my magician is currently probably earned 50-55 karma? (on my first initiation and about to buy my first point of magic)

My ongoing campaign has been running for four years. The original characters were 400 BP, with non-optimized build. After about 25 adventures (including SOX French campaign and the first three Dawn of the Artifacts adventures), the regular earned around 150-175 karma, and I think between 250,000 and 500,000 ¥ (a year of lifestyle deduced).

Currently, in my campaign the players have amassed about 210 karma each and around $2.2 mil.

However, they have also had alot of out of pocket expenses that have eaten alot of the cash (like home getting destroyed, paying to smuggle themselves and gear around the world, bribes and pay-offs.
I think the richest player has a liquid worth of around $375,000 in toys and lifestyle and an other $250,000 in cyber.

I track how much they have earned VS how much I "take away". I shoot for an average earnings of around 3500 per Karma, but playing stupid is a costly mistake!
