Title: R.I.P. Václav Havel
Post by: Sichr on <12-18-11/1251:59>
Amongst many other things, plying Shadowrun was part of the freedom this Man struggles for. Sending russians back home, bringing the hope for who suffered opression under their rule, avoiding violence and with hardcore naivety and good will, trust to the human ability to live side by side with others as equal, Václav Havel is true symbol of Peace and Freedom.
He will be missed. Not just here, in Czech republic. Death of such a man is loss for all men around the world. Without men like him...corporate shadows, followed by darkness, are much closer than in our imagination.

And people worship the likes of Jersey Shore...

At least Ozzy Osbourne has a message for people if you care to look deep enough, damnit!

BTW. We have Trutnov Music Festival every year. Rock festival. Havel visited every single year, he grew up on "bigbeat"

Sorry, just comparing different types of artists, and how they can influence the world.  Ozzy, John Lennon, Sir Terry Pratchett, Dan Akyroyd (No, I'm not joking).

At the very least, they teach adversity in the face of the impossible is never a cause to give up, just smile and ask, "Please sir, may I have some more?"

Ozzy would probably put a few swears in there, however.  ;)

Now there's something I'd love to go to...  *Sighs*  So much to see in the world...
